Are Derby turning into an Old People's Home. Bath (34), Weimann (33), Richard O'Donnel (36). At least Carlton Morris is only 29. |

I spoke to a Wednesdayite this morning. He thinks 3 of the 1st team have given the club notice. If so SW have 15 days to pay what they are owed or they can walk away. Roll is expected to join Leicester. Hard to believe they'll get 30 points. Before any deductions. |

Plenty on here saying Larkeche can't defend. No doubt true in 23/24, since when he's played 30 ish games in the SPL. How many of his well informed critics watched Dundee in 24/25? |

Because he's qualified to play for Algeria? |
 | Forum Reply | QPR head back Down Under for Macarthur’s Kealey Adamson – Signing at 18:36 30 Jun 2025
ALF left Sydney in 2023. From what my son has said, and he goes to a number of Sydney games, the standard has gone up. Those who have come over have plenty of upside. Out of our 3 I suspect only 1 will make it into regular appearances . |

4-2-3-1 Nardi; Dunne, Cook, JCS, Larkeche; varane, Field; Poku, Madsen/Vale, Chair; Frey. DCM cover for Varane & Field. A big Striker that's quicker, more mobile, more clinical than Frey and won't cost more than £500K. |

With all due respect I doubt if you have any idea how long Kelman's contract lasts. I thought it was extended before the lian to Orient. |

Let's see how he does pre season and first few games of the real season. We can make a decision towards end August. ATM his value is probably somewhere between £3-7m. But if WBA, Soton, Sheff U and Norwich all sniffing around, it could be even higher. |
 | Forum Reply | QPR head back Down Under for Macarthur’s Kealey Adamson – Signing at 19:58 29 Jun 2025
My son lives in Sydney and has come across Adamson, both as a player and an up and coming coach. One of the things about the Aussies coming over, is that they tend to be decent athletes aged between 18 and 23, with a fair bit of A League experience. But 26 games per season isn't enough to stretch them to their full potential. At its best ALeague is on a par with Championship. At its worst its about bottom half L1. |
 | Forum Reply | How optimistic are you now? at 19:30 29 Jun 2025
It looks a lot better than it did a week ago. I'm not convinced we need a LB, provided Larkeche can translate SPL form to the Championship. Or Esquerdinha forces his way into the starting lineup. I suspect Colback will be released, which might leave us a bit short for DCMs. I'd love somebody more effective than Frey/Celar/Kelman/Kolli but I'm not convinced we can afford one, even if a prolific striker has been identified. But, if we have tobgo into the season with the current lot, I'd like to think it's a top half squad. Pre- season games may be instructive. Toulouse, Herenveen and Brentford are no mugs. |

If we go 24 days without another signing, it won't bother me. 3 decent signings in 3 days isn't bad. Unless we've found a spare £5m to get somebody better than what we have. |

The thing with Glasto is that there is so much variety that anybody should find something they like. And, undoubtedly, something to detest. Just accept it for what it is. A music festival with 100+ acts over the main 3 days. |

We've made huge strides since getting relegated from the PL. Most of that is down to Sir Les and Hoos, but Nourry's work over the last 18 months hasn't been all bad. The training ground is bringing in some revenue, the wage bill has stabilised or reduced, the recruitment, particularly the DS looks good, crowds have been good, and the fan base seems a lot younger. Hopefully, the players from last year will be better settled and the new ones look promising. If Eze does get sold then there's a big windfall. Then it's the hope that kills you. |
