WLS reporting that Kolli has had a setback. He was expected back in training mid-late March. We're now into April, so someone's been telling porkies. He was shown in the training gallery and there was no news from Marti's interview. |

At his age, a 1 year contract, perhaps with an extra year option on the club side? ought to be sufficient. But, it depends on the wages. I can't justify him being the highest paid at 34. So, he will have to take a substantial cut from the level previously alleged. It could still be higher than the majority of Championship CBs. |

Cormac MacCarthy specialises in dystopia scenarios, e.g. The Road. My wife has recommended Notes on an Execution.from what she's said about it and, having watched the Ruth Ellis story, why would anybody support Capital Punishment? [Post edited 2 Apr 8:33]

Fat Gatt played cricket for Brondesbury before joining Middlesex. I played for Shepherds Bush and we lost the U18 final against them. Gatting couldn't get in their team, although, I guess, he is a few years younger than me. |

The DS are playing again tonight. AFAIK, not a single player who beat WBA is involved against Brum. Very young side. Scarlett and Moore are 15yo [Post edited 1 Apr 20:34]

I was trying to provoke a debate, as I knew the Armstrong saga. Could Dillon be a future multi million sale? I have no idea but he does seem to have settled fairly well. I agree that most, if not all, the players mentioned above, will be released this Summer. League results for the DS haven't been great. That will happen if you try to fast track 15-18 year olds. Hopefully, that approach will pay off. In time. |

If the injury situation in the first team doesnt improve soon, I can see 1 of the youngsters getting an outing before end of season. Petrie has been on the bench, twice. Harry Murphy joined him at Stoke. But, from what I've read, Sutton is probably the closest. Cian Dillon, who scored twice last night, is on loan to Enfield in Nat League South. I wonder what became of the last striker we signed from Shamrock Rovers? [Post edited 1 Apr 8:24]

Who'd be a proper football manager. As opposed to the game of that name. No fit strikers, a team full of midgets and some want to pick a CB who's been playing RB, as a fill-in striker. WTF,!!!!! [Post edited 31 Mar 22:15]

QPR don't do cup competitions. Well, they do tonight. Before tonight, had we ever beaten WBA 3-2, in the Cup, after being behind at HT? |

I suspect there is a fair bit of info we're not privileged to know. We do know Lloyd has missed recent games with a groin injury. Is he only fit enough for 20-25 minutes? But, after that spineless 1st half, Marti had to shake it up. Similar with Morrison. Had 2 long spells out. Is he fit enough to play 90. Especially with JCS out and Cook struggling. Can we take the risk? Andersen's legs have gone. But what was the alternative? Madsen, Bennie or 2 kids from the DS? |
