couldn’t get to the game listened to it on radio Essex who described rochdale as a Pennines town in South Yorkshire!! to change the mood a little is anyone contemplating the away trip to Truro next season? 354 mile road trip if the fixture falls on a Saturday perhaps the club could organise through travel agents a weekend package for fans?
I was devastated when my wife’s cancer returned this February. The treatment she has received from the consultants doctors and nurses at both the Manchester and Oldham Christy have been fantastic and we do not regard the the reoccurrence as a death sentence. The advances made in cancer are incredible and I am sure Joe will come out of this.
It is with sadness to report the death of Derek Pearson on April 25th.Derek was 92 years old and was a life long fan of the Dale.He started supporting them as 15 year old lad and never ceased to support them from the forties to February of this year.He only stopped going in February this year because he was too ill to make it.His favourite position was behind the goal on Sandy where he would make his opinions clear!! (He had a voice that carried!!) he was a genuine supporter who stuck with the Dale through good and bad times will miss you Derek !!
