I think that's called cutting off your nose to spite your face. Much as it would pain me, bad a taste as it would leave, let them have him if we get the dough. I care not a jot for Chelsea and Eze is now literally in a different league. 15 million quid in dirty money is fine by me. |

Men in the city wearing flip flops with their hairy toes on display. I blame Australians for such obscenity. |

I thought he was younger than that. Looks like he's been turning out for Grimsby for a couple of decades. |

How old is Harvey Vale? He looks like some wizened old geezer whose been plying his trade at Macclesfield for the last 14 seasons. |

I'm sure this has been asked and probably answered before, but if part of the Arsenal deal is a player exchange how does that affect our 20% cut? |
 | Forum Reply | Record season ticket sales. at 15:24 1 Jul 2025
I think we could come close to selling out every home fan ticket this year. It has been growing steadily for some time and I'm not surprised. prem football is overpriced and overrated, we've built up a good young following, older fans returning and also groups of visitors who love it. Don't think it will be easy to get a ticket for some games this sseason. |

I remember just before Iain Dowie was made our manager there was a piece saying 'Iain Dowie is about about to be unveiled as QPR's new manager" and some wag said - 'couldn't he keep the veil on'. |
 | Forum Reply | Marti Officially Gone at 16:10 25 Jun 2025
I find myself totally torn on this one. MC was the most erudite, elegant and to my mind compelling man we've had at the helm in many a moon. He made me want to travel to Preston, made me proud to be a hoop and that is not to be diminished, he brought dignity and culture back to our club after the shambles which preceded him. But and it is an axial but, the second season was ultimately poor, some odd decisions, strange selections, frustrating and ultimately disappointing. We cannot settle for perpetual 16th and so perhaps it was time to move on. My heart says we should have stuck with Marti and his great song, but my head says Bonjour to the new guy, let's try and maintain the good vibes, the young fans, the sell out crowds and add a touch of steel, an assumption of winning, a push to get back to being more than perennial mid table mediocrity. Bring on the new season. El Rey is gone, long live Le Roi [Post edited 25 Jun 16:23]

Did anyone else on here just watch that stage of the Giro? Still trying to understand what happened, or certainly how and why it happened. That was like Bobby Zamora 89th minute as a bike race, incredible. Simon Yates not the most charismatic of men, but can only doff my chapeau to an incredible ride, but cannot comprehend what Del Toro and Carapaz were thinking. My head is still shaking with disbelief. |

Problem is a run in the Rangers side, with no goals in a dozen games means that he is worth sod all again. Right now he has a value, but how high is it? How much would a west Brom or a Coventry pay for him? That's what we need to know when trying to ascertain whether to sell or keep. |

Tonight I am mainly supporting Betis. (Currently winning 1-0). In fact I am often supporting Betis, they are my Spanish team, been many times, great fans, beautiful city of course, and the left wing side of town. Viva Betis. |

Not really a consideration. I promised my then three year old son that I would buy his season ticket for the rest of my life, as it is my fault he has to suffer. He is now 29 and still want to make Preston away on a Tuesday. Our bond is important, but then so is our shared bond to this place, this club, this area. The football isn't secondary, it is part of the whole, the camaraderie, the community, the continuity. If we were playing on Paddington Rec behind a rope I would be there. I want us to win every game, but then I want a socialist Utopia too. Life is tough and so is being a Rangers fan, but the alternative does not bear thinking about. |

As much as I want Eze to do well, he is a great footballer and an exemplary human being, my only concern is QPR, get him sold to the highest possible bidder, how his career develops from that point on is his concern not mine. QPR First. Make QPR great again. |

Vic has been a constant at Rangers since the days of the Loft Boys back in the late sixties. A proper, staunch stalwart, a good man to have by your side. |

Listened to A Love Supreme by John Coltrane for the first time in a long time and almost felt like I had discovered God. Spiritual jazz indeed. Like Taarabt and Bowles and Marsh all rolled into one. |

Got on a Ryanair flight at Gibraltar airport and the last passenger on was wearing a lemon zoot suit and carrying two hat boxes. It was August Darnell aka Kid Creole, sat next to me across the aisle. Charming chap. |

Don't forget we invented 'boutique football' back in the Briatore days. Except that was rubbery chicken and warm white with the curtains drawn so you couldn't see the White City Estate. |

A terrible artist. Genesis pretentious hippy rubbish - I didn't man the punk barricades to believe that Genesis were anything other than prog dross. and as for his solo stuff, terrible covers of Motown tunes, plus he's a snake. |
