Supporting Brentford and being the icon, the heart and soul of Chelsea and a hero of that mob north of the border are sins of a very different magnitude in my eyes. [Post edited 3 Sep 22:06]

Greatest player No. No. Never, not close. Gerry Francis better engine, more power, Don Masson, better passing, Rodney better everything. Adel more skill. Stanley, don't even consider it... Plus the taint of the blues, both Chelsea and Rangers (Glasgow that is) always hung over him for some of us. Lovely chap, good chip. But he was Chelsea through and through. |

Who could ever forget the time he bent down to tie his shoe lace as the opposition team swarmed past him. |

Where's Gerry Francis when you need him? |

Clive keep your strength and keep the faith in us, because we are QPR. You are brilliant at what you do and we need you on top form so take your time, keep your council, look after yourself. |

Hopefully he won't fall down quite as often. Smyth is driving me mad with his diving, stay on your feet man. |

I thought Smyth was arguably the worst player on the pitch yesterday, primarily because he fell down every time anybody came near him. It has become his immediate response and Refs have stopped giving him free kicks because it is so patently obvious he is looking for them. Stand up man. |

Some of you lot are truly ridiculous. i've just got back to find snowflakes talking about getting rid of the manager after two league games. We were undeniably poor first half , but it was nothing like the Ainsworth debacle. Second half we could well have nicked it, Varane made us much stronger, having a full back on the pitch helped, the new guy looked strong, we looked half decent for half an hour and played some good stuff. We go again, we'll find out our best eleven and our best formation and we'll be alright. So stop with the nervous breakdowns already. [Post edited 16 Aug 20:19]

My 60th season this year and my son who is only 29 has already clocked up a quarter of a century as a season ticket holder. And we both still talk to each other. |

Some people, I suspect ones not at the game, are going way over the top in terms of negativity. We should have won that and PNE were not very good, but there were many positives. First half we looked for more coherent as a team than we have done for a long time, some sharp fluid football, some excellent individual performances, as usual not enough end product, but for a very young team, with four or five of our top line players absent, I was pleasantly surprised. We aint gonna set this division alight, but I suspect we'll do OK. |

While not suggesting that he had a good game I thought he did OK, his link up play was certainly better, a good few lay offs, held the ball up. Not great but not bad. |

Wonderfully wise and sensibly jaded writing. We go again, though still feel war weary from the accumulative strain of the last few seasons. The amazing support has been the only real positive and we have to try and maintain that whatever the results, despite lacking in any real pre-season optimism. But then we are QPR so you never know. Come on you super... |

The Pistols back catalogue is one patchy album. Saw them live in 77 at Brunel, and as much as I respect Glen (sits behind me in SA Road) there's three good songs. Whereas Mick Jones and the Clash... |
