I thought ABK was beginning to look a bit sharper and fitter in the first 20 mins, but then it all went tits up. Bizarre how we can just switch off barely 2 mins onto the 2nd half !!
Tyler offered very little. Lazily strolling round and 90% of his passes were backwards.
Tall Paul doesn't even make an attempt to get on the end of balls into the box unless they are virtually straight to him. There was even 1 instance when it went just over his head and he didn't even jump for it - and another when he stood there motionless and watched as the keeper came to collect unchallenged. Pathetic.
Hopefully his goal will add another few quid to his saleable value.

I have been through every manager since Lawrie McMenemy and we have had some bad ones in all that time and the most noticeable that comes to mind are Branfoot, Pellegrino, Jones, etc but I am struggling to think that they have been or were any worse than this current manager.
Since Juric was appointed he has done and achieved absolutely zero. Yes, it was always going to be a hard task to turn things around and just about everyone accepted relegation almost as soon as the season started, but Juric has been an absolute disaster. He has even managed to destroy what tenuous team spirit there was. None of the players seem to know what they are doing from one game to the next. None of them appear motivated and even those that do make some effort are often hooked off or don't get to play the next game.
Can someone anywhere give one thing that Juric has changed or improved since RM departed. It is embarrassing as a club that we cannot even manage to get to double figures on points let alone exceed Derby County's 11 points and we cannot even achieve it when we play sides that arguably not that great - Wolves yesterday - they were nothing special at all and yet we conspired to lose it.
This has been without doubt the worst season in my lifetime, even worse than the administration period. It is going to take something monumental to change the fortunes of the club around.

Absolutely rigght in all you say A1069. I have never been as embarrassed as now to say what team I have been supporting for well over 50 years, and let's be honest we have had some dismal times, but nothing like now. Even when we scored yesterday I couldn't even get out of my seat to celebrate

Just looking at Juric's previous record brings up nothing but mediocrity or failure.
His signing is the fault of Sport Republic. You, me or anybody else would have looked at Juric's record and dismissed the idea immediately.
Simon Rusk organises the team, gets a promising point at Fulham but they ignore this and bring in yet another useless fu cking chancer. FFS the bloke can't even be bothered to have a shave or tidy up his appearance on match day, a total embarrassment, and that's before we even get to his non abilities as a coach or in man management.
Whoever decided on him has the brain of a colostomy bag.

That match has been the straw that has finally broken the camels back for the fans. His bizarre substitution of taking off the best player on the pitch and then post match chucking him under the bus should have got him the sack there and then.
Can you imagine what that has done to the already fragile confidence of not only MF but to the morale of the rest of the team too.
We've got 2 weeks to let an interim Rusk/Lala duo try to restore some sort of order and sanity to the club, otherwise the toxic atmosphere v Palace will be unbearable. Pointless trying to bring in an outsider or just ride the current situation out till the inevitable relegation and record low points total.
Just do it now please and give us some reason to continue to follow the team 🥲 |

Several seasons ago, under Hughes when we were 3 down after about 30 mins but luckily LFC lost interest and cruised thru the rest of the game, I saw about 10 players at Lime Street including JWP, Steve Davis, Romeu and Vestergaard, even though there was a Chartered Team flight going to Southampton.

Luckily VAR hasn't really been an issue yet, except maybe the delay in the penalty being taken. Of course you have to actually score to get a goal denied by VAR in the first place, which is an issue 🙄 |
