Yes, really enjoyed Kone running straight at Charlton Centre half, full take out of his whole body and a. er head collision as well, poor sod didn't know what hit him. ( I think this was payback for nasty off the ball in first half). And yes I do see a lot of Les in him, ( obviously not pace) but all round confidence and physical threat, plus very cool in front of goal. I like him. |

Clive Top priority is to take care of yourself, you have done a great job for a very long time, the next six months looks like a very tough/ bad time for us , and anyone who genuinely cares for the club, you have done great things for us over the years, time to step back for a while. Cheers Clive! |
 | Forum Reply | Walsh v Nardi at 12:37 12 Aug 2025
Nardi isn't to bad a keeper, but as the season wore on he started to punch more crosses than catch them, ( which on occasion put us back under pressure), I think Walsh is very confident with crosses and general catching, (kiss of death), a fine performance away at Sunderland, but I don't think it's helping having different Centre Halfs and full backs every game, ( particularly at set pieces, I would stick with Walsh and let the defence settle down and see how we go. |
 | Forum Reply | Poku - at 13:58 7 Aug 2025
Really liked Poku in that Toulouse? game, on the right, really doesn't mind handing it out, their full back looking very nervous as game went on, played some lovely crosses into both near and far post, ( a handfull, really like him). |

Watching Brentford today, was reminded of the old Jurgen Klopp comment when told they were up next, " Oh god! Corners, goal kicks and throw ons" ( I might add drop balls now with their new Manager), if that's what Brentford have to offer I would be very nervous if was a Brentford fan, numbingly boring, ( as usual) but looked very top six Championship. |

Great to watch and amusing that no full back would ever date throw a punch at Mark, best wishes to Mark and family. |

Yes agreed, very pleased with Chair and Morgan, very calm, very quick. Poku (not sure about spelling),Looks very good, and very quick , settled quickly, Sutton as we know is bloody quick and got involved straight away. This can't be right? New players look good? Team settles quickly, very worried. |

This is turning into one very bad tempered match. Jimmy seems quite keen to let them know he's not happy with their behaviour. |

How he turned us around when he came in I will never know. Never forget the 4.0 Leeds at home game, (or the West Brom Stan night). Good luck Marti |

Yes, Morrison is excellent on the ball, and always looks like he has time, (usually very helpful at International level!). |

Yes, Def the Banks one. ( Mind you yes the Chris Day one at Oldham will never be forgotten, not will the support from R's fans that day). |

Yes, totally agree with above, I thought we would be crushed by a physical , hard running, throw-ins and corners, long ball side. (No surprise that's what they offered), But bloody hell! some of the football we played was a joy to watch, deservedly Kieron Morgan will get immense praise tonight, but some of the movement, and pace up front was as good as I've seen this season, (inc First team). I had to pinch myself, ( no pain with alcohol) that this wasn't a First team game. Curious for Brentford fans? With all the money, why does the Algorithm keep producing such boring players? |

Well, full respect for your take on the game, but must differ as this was one of the worst performances, ( can I call it a performance?) I have ever seen at Loftus Road, yes, we have injuries and key players missing, but this afternoon was absolute rubbish, Cardiff must be kicking themselves. Sorry, but I'm not supporting mismanagement by the Club. |
 | Forum Reply | Deliberately Weakened Team Today at 22:57 29 Mar 2025
I looked at todays team and thought how many Championship sides are starting the "Relegation run in" with no recognised Centre Forward? (All injured) If we survive this final run in something has to change (I know , we have this conversation every six months). Anyway was very pleased with Alfie bashing the nearest Stoke defender |
 | Forum Thread | Deliberately Weakened Team Today at 22:03 29 Mar 2025
Apologies, very late to the board today, ( I'm sure this has been already mentioned), but when I saw team selection today, I thought "He's got 50/50 players he is not sure about" Why risk them against a Stoke team with a very good home record last seven games? When next week, I will have a fully fit Alfie Lloyd, ( did well today) plus maybe all the others, against a Cardiff side we have a much better chance of getting a result. |
