I see Corbyn has officially announced the formation of his far left political party. No doubt a few Labour voters will switch to it. I wonder if Dianne will join her former muse. |

It is not unique or sensitive most of it has been drained and is now low value farmland which has little value to nature. Most of the major drainage work was carried out in the 19th century not the middle ages. It should be fully restored to a proper wetlands not farm land. As previously the vast majority of the proposed M4 relief road skirted Newport and never went near the levels. Only about 5 acres of the levels were affected by it. |

They still get free accommodation, food, health care and free education for their children while wating for their "bogus" asylum claims to be processed. Most are just economic migrants living off the tax paid by hard working UK taxpayers. |

The majority of the UK is in favour of a constitutional monarchy. Far better than corrupt Politicians being elected President or even worse ex IRA terrorist running a government like in NI. |

Most of the M4 relief road was never planned to go near the Gwent Levels. Most of it was on the edge of Newport with some crossing low value farm land. In fact most of the Gwent levels has been drained to provide low value farm land. Anyone who has ever used the train can see that. The M4 relief road could have been built if money had been set aside to actual retore the Gwent levels by providing large ponds an stopping the draining of the levels. |

Unfortunately the miners were never given a vote on holding a strike. The NUM lead by the idiot Scargill called the miners out. It was a National UK strike and of course the Welsh miners supported it not sure why you claim Welsh miners had nothing to do with Scargill they supported him. |

Labour have been making promises they never kept for the last 25 years in Wales. Time the people of Wales woke up and got rid of them. We need a party that looks after businesses who create jobs and prosperity as well as the UK interest. That rules out Plaid and Labour. The bigger the mess UK labour keeps making the more votes Labour will lose. Only today the figures on Government borrowing for June came out the second worst ever. This is despite the huge tax hikes that caused the rise in inflation and the rise in Government borrowing costs. |

The same could be said of Welsh Nationalist as well. Politics have nothing to do with our club. |

If 16 year olds are not considered to be responsible to buy alcohol, a lottery ticket, drive a car, how are they responsible enough to vote. The are not considered to be adults until they are 18 by the UK government either. This is a major challenge to UK democracy and was not contained in the Labour party's manifesto. Looks like Starmer is following in Drakeford's footsteps in a desperate attempt to stay in power. This is despite all surveys showing the majority of UK voters are not in favour of giving children the vote. |

Brexit has nothing to do with the closure of Port Talbot blast furnaces. They were making a loss of over £1 million a day. Not helped by the poor road infrastructure in South Wales particularly the Brynglas bottleneck. Nationalising it would saddle the Senedd with £365 million bill saddling everyone in Wales £100 bill a year or £250 for every working tax payers in Wales. |

Junior Doctors are on £37000 to £71000 for a basic 40 hour week. They get more for working nights and weekends as well as overtime payments. Their employers , the tax payers, also pay a pension contribution of 24%. This compares with 3 to 6% in the private sector. When you factor this in thy are getting the equivalent of £46,000 to £98,000 s year for a basic 40 hour week. Yet their Union wants an extra 25%. The British Millitant Association is a disgrace putting the lives of patients at risk. This is despite a record number of new doctors in the last 5 years. |

Unfortunately the population is not static. It has grown by 10 million since 2000 and is predicted ti grow by 500,000 a year. The population has been growing since Blair allowed freedom of movement and is driven by mass imagination both legal and illegal. |

They are the richest pay the most taxes in a long time. While 5 million people on benefits get it all tax free. No wonder they refuse to work. |

The whole of England and Wales voted to leave the EU. How on earth can any sensible person support someone who calls for mass murder. Wonder if he supported the mass murder of people at a pop concert by the Hamas terrorist? Bet even you can spot the irony of a pop non entity asking the audience to applaud killing fans at a pop concert. |

As everyone knows the more you tax the rich the less total tax you raise. They just leave the country and pay no tax at all. 1000s of non doms have ready left the country. The socialist have never understood that having a bigger share of a smaller cake does not make anyone better off. The economy needs to grow, and we need to attract the wealthy to live in the UK. |

Most people in Wales want to abolish the Labour run Senedd after the disasters of Drakeford and co over the last 25 years. |
