Senedd election 2026
at 05:52 24 Oct 2025

Labour managed only 11% of the vote in Caerphilly on a turn our if over 50%. The first time there has ever been a 50% turn out in a Senedd bi election.

Looks like Labour will be wiped our in May despite trying to rig the election system in Wales by their list system and giving votes to children.

Plaid have propped up Labour and kept them in power for the last 25 years in Wales. Time to get rid of them both. Then we might get a prosperous Wales, with business friendly policies, more jobs and less reliance on benefits.

Welsh Bus Drivers Strike
at 13:32 17 Oct 2025

Considering London underground drivers get £100,000 a year and train drivers £60,000 for doing a considerable easier job than bus drivers seems a reasonable pay claim.

Great to allow loyal fans, who have jack army membership, to have priority over the fair weather fans who only turn up occasionally.

Correct, 5000 season tickets holders failed to turn up. Actual attendance was about 10,000.

Think it is supporter apathy that is awful. Too many just want to stay at home watching it either on Sky or worse still doggy streams.

Your answer I guess would be leave the EFL and play in the Cymru nation league where you would get Welsh Referees every week even though the standards of Referees is far worse.

We are not the highest in Europe let alone the World.
Italy, Spain, Germany and Belgium all have higher electricity prices than the UK.

Are Plaid going to win the Senedd vote next year ?
at 17:24 25 Sep 2025

Huge increase in the cost of running the senedd next year. Their proposed budget will be over £100m. That works out ar £1 million per Senned member with three extra 36 Senedd members cost £1 million each. Which equates to £10 for every person in Wales.

Strange Cardiff got a smaller crowd than Swansea in the 2nd round despite playing local opposition.

It is still the racecourse to most people in Wales and always will be. More important things to worry about in the World.

The BBC refered to it by its new name so not sure why you are having another one of you anti English rants, especially as you posted in English not Welsh.

Perhaps we should have a another vote on Welsh Devolution. The first referendum won by the Natioinlist by a tiny majority, was 25 years ago.

Perhaps it is time to give the Welsh voters another say on failure by 25 years of labour misrule in the Senedd.

I suspect most people in Wales can't wait to give their verdict in May.

French Government on verge of collapse
at 22:13 8 Sep 2025

Unfortunately France's problems stem from a faltering economy which is symptomatic of the whole undemocratic EU which promotes protectionism and stifles growth.
France's is higher than the UK as a proportion of GDP. This despite the fact that the CAP was designed to protect inefficient French farmers.
