I accept many aren't that interested. Myself only a wee bit. But I see Drinkwater gets called up due to media clamour. And Danny Rose. Yet no place for Cresswell. And if Disco Danny D gets in why not Mark Noble? I'm no hammer, but it does make me wonder what Woy and his boys are looking for week-to-week. |

All over the news today it seems. Honestly cannot understand what all the fuss is about. Much like her looks really. Am I missing something? |
| Forum Thread | Is Amir Khan crazy? at 17:34 2 Feb 2016
Moving up 2 weights to fight Alvarez?? He'll get butchered. Seems like madness to me. Desperation to get a top fight as he's been overlooked for so many lately. Alvarez has the physique to move up to supermiddle. Sugar Ray Leonard managed it but Amir's no Sugar-Ray. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/boxing/35476796 |
| Forum Thread | Looky-likeys - Maurice White off to Newcastle at 11:14 26 Jan 2016
I see Andros Townsend is probably off to Newcastle now, £12m. One of the few loanees we've had who's put in a quality stint with us. Often wanted to put it out there, whenever I see the fella he always reminds me of Maurice White of Earth Wind and Fire. Even if there's no resemblance at all, always makes me chuckle. Makes me think - have we had a looky-likey thread for a while? |

The number of times I've hit refresh on BBC Sport to see if Mourinho's been sacked yet. |
| Forum Thread | Sit down with Charlie - fantasy negotiations at 13:03 3 Sep 2015
You are Sir Les and Lee Hoos rolled into one. It's time to sit down with Charlie and his agent and get sh!t down on paper. Apparently Charlie is still on £20k per week, whilst the highest earners are around the 40k mark. Contract expires next year. What would you do, what would you offer, what is realistic for both parties to agree to? |

| Forum Thread | Story Songs at 13:39 28 Jul 2015
I totally respect the varied and deep muso knowledge held by everyone on this forum. Therefore I was interested in suggestions you have for tracks where the lyrics tell a story or have a very specific meaning/philosophy. My 8yr old girl is massively into music, real music, which is great. She hasn't a clue what X Factor or 1D is in fact and I intend to keep it that way! But where she hooks into songs is in the lyrics. She likes stuff that tells a story or has a clear meaning (and obviously the tune needs to be great too). Examples of stuff she likes now... Rocky Raccoon - The Beatles Children's Story - Slick Rick Chuck Es in Love - Rikki Lee Jones War Pigs - Black Sabbath Your suggestions could help make a great playlist, thankee sirs!... |
| Forum Thread | What's happening to you lot? at 22:57 26 Jun 2015
I've been out of the country for 5 yrs (returning in a month!) and off this site for nearly a season, ever since depression set in with redknapp last October. Anyway, I look in today, eager to get involved again, and I see a page full of threads on socks, sac, crack n waxes, moisturizers, man bags, eyebrow pencils and manicures. All on page 1. I mean, really? Wtf? Man-up lads. The gritty reality of the championship commences soon. Pies up north, ambushes in Wolverhampton, the works. Ain't no moisturizer in the world gonna make a difference to your pasty mid-winter faces. Sort it out! |
| Forum Thread | Match Day Fred at 05:21 19 Oct 2014
This is my first. I will be up at 6am just before kick-off where I am. Regardless of the opposition, with all that's gone on, it feels important this one. At the moment I don't give a toss about the result. But I am bothered about the performance. Make sure you look like you give a sh!t lads. You Rs! Oh, and our dear messrs Harry, Bondy and Joe - one of you, please, get into that technical area and look like you're directing traffic and that you care what's happening. |
| Forum Thread | Slipped / herniated discs at 16:04 23 Sep 2014
Anyone ever had one? What was the recovery like etc? I'm pretty much bed/sofa bound having it done it only a week ago. Left leg still numb and don't have muscle control of it either. I was returning to Costa Rica from hols in UK, was only an hour from home. Now stuck here with not the best medical care/experts locally. At the risk of making me even more farked off than I already am, thought I'd scout around for experiences that might give me a better idea of what I'm in for. |
| Forum Thread | Looking forward to Saturday... at 21:43 16 Sep 2014
So Stoke at home on Saturday. We're on TV again, not our strong suit, the cameras, but let's gloss over that one. Stoke's line -up against Leicester: Begovic Bardsley Shawcross Wilson Pieters N'Zonzi Whelan Walters Bojan Moses Crouch As much as I loathe MH like the rest of us, his team looks half-decent. But as we found out on Sunday, looks can be deceiving. Still, Stoke had 27 shots v Leicester but only 6 on target, 58% possession. For me their weakness is in central midfield and down the flanks and that's where I hope Harry and Glenda formulate their masterplan for destruction. But all our lot need to be on top of their game, hopefully with a fit Sandro and Joey to contain Bojan. And then unleash the Vargas to run the channels? I dunno. Anyone seen Stoke play lately? How do we win this? |
| Forum Thread | Just back! at 17:34 30 Aug 2014
Been wanting to write that for a long time. Just back. First game in a few years, all the way from Costa Rica. Thoughts. Leroy Fer is a colossus. Our best buy on today's evidence, like him a lot. Seems to have the fire in his belly that we've been lacking a long time. I thought our shape was good, Hoillett and Phillips did great work - wish Junior had the confidence to shoot earlier when he cuts inside. Even Joey looked good today, Mutch was much better - and we're well set up for some decent training sessions during the break. Thassall - drunk, happy, great to be back at Loftus and see some old faces, you Rs!!!! |
