Russia does have significant navel history - just not as grand as ours 😉
For example, there were many sea battles during the Crimean war - the Baltic, Azoz, Black/White and even a battle in the North Pacific. One of the principles aims of the conflict was to stop Russia having a warm-water port.
Also, Peter the Great stayed in Deptford during a tour to learn about ship building, there’s even a statue of him by Deptford Creek!
I think Russia’s surface fleet might be a bit old, they do have nuclear subs!

Pleasantly surprised by the performance! As others have said, first half was good with lots of positives. Got caught off guard for the equaliser, and our heads dropped.
Like the look of some the new boys - Mbengue the stand out for me. Also liked the look of Esquerdinha. I love that we’ve signed a Fluminense player!
IMO - more positives than negatives. |

This is going to be a tough season isn't it? I don't think I can handle another season watching Madsen's disappearing act alongside a masterclass of passing the ball around the back before the keeper boots it up field to our non-existing strike force.
I also didn't get a good vibe from the fans forum. There's nothing inspiring about being a development club. Even if it's our reality, doesn't mean I have to like it.
The kits are nice this season, that's one positive. |

Love it! The PJDN reference is spot on, unfortunately the writer/actor who plays ‘Steves’ is a Brentford fan.
Pre-season has been a bit blah, so this was just the article to get me in the mood for another season. |

For me this is the best home kit we've had from Erra.
White crest and red numbers/names look so much better.
The checkered pattern is more subtle and IMO works better than last seasons 'fade'. I like the white across the top as it emphasises the three hoops. The kicking man is also a nice little detail.
I would love a version without all the sponsors on it.

Some clubs sell 'unsponsored' versions of their kits, for example West Ham. Would love it if we did the same. |

If the rumours are true then presumably, we weren’t offering him what he thinks he’s worth and Charlton are.
Selling Sincs to Brizzle was good business, I’m not sure yet if this is. Kelman at least has a good season behind him.
I understand our strategy, but at some point we’ll need to pay out, it’s been nearly a decade without out a good striker! [Post edited 27 Jul 7:34]

Exactly what I said.
Millwall also have the same template for their 2nd/3rd kits this season, but their home kit is a different template. Perhaps we'll also get something different for our home kit? [Post edited 25 Jul 19:53]

I like it, although It does look like Erra have recycled the 20/21 template...I wonder if the home kit will be a completely different design or just a blue version of the 3rd?
Anyone who doesn't like our new kits, please take a look at the Brentford away...makes last seasons gold/sepia/dehydrated urine 3rd kit look like a masterpiece. [Post edited 25 Jul 10:36]

Madsen at has been one of the worst players I've seen in recent times, but...It's really good to hear him speak and be reminded that he's a human with thoughts/feelings.
What I find most frustrating about Madsen is that the way he wants to play football is how I like to see it played, but he lacks the confidence/experience to know when to just get stuck into a game and when to stick to his guns and play his football.
I think we as fan's need to back him and give him the confidence to play. He needs get out of his own head and not be afraid to make a mistake.

The absolute worst 3rd kit in recent times was the brown and yellow dry world kit .
