Madsen interview
at 10:56 16 Jul 2025

Madsen at has been one of the worst players I've seen in recent times, but...It's really good to hear him speak and be reminded that he's a human with thoughts/feelings.

What I find most frustrating about Madsen is that the way he wants to play football is how I like to see it played, but he lacks the confidence/experience to know when to just get stuck into a game and when to stick to his guns and play his football.

I think we as fan's need to back him and give him the confidence to play. He needs get out of his own head and not be afraid to make a mistake.

I would love to see him develop into the player he's capable of being.

I think I like it, strong continental vibe.

The absolute worst 3rd kit in recent times was the brown and yellow dry world kit .

Edit: Didn't realise this is actually our away kit.

I went to that Wembley gig, I was 14 at the time, can't believe my parents let me go! I remember thinking it was pretty mental at the time. I also remember the Doves moaning at the crowd about something, haha

Chaz MKI was incredible. Chaz MKII was awful. Should have left after the loan spell. I was at the cup game when he sat in Ellerslie Road stand, strange behaviour.

QPR grounds its Bluesky account

At my work we use a platform that links to all social media accounts. So you set up your post/content and it automatically posts across your channels.

No idea why they've come off, even if engagement was low you could still recycle content just to have a presence on the platform?

Marti Officially Gone
at 23:03 24 Jun 2025

Brutal, but inevitable end. Something about Marti’s tenure didn’t feel right to me, I can’t put my finger on it. There was clearly a disconnect between him, the club and the fans.

Looking back I can’t think of anything that went wrong, that hasn’t gone wrong for our previous managers - correct me if I’m wrong.

For the last decade various iterations of the squad have all gone on long losing streaks. We’ve consistently had injuries and our recruitment has been more miss than hit.

Anyway, time to rinse and repeat with the next manager.

First coffee of the day.

The atmosphere of the ground during night games, especially in deepest darkest winter - probably not a small joy. So many things I love about.

Gutted it didn’t work out for him. Really liked his style of play, such a shame he couldn’t stay fit.

WW3 on its way

Haha, thanks PH.

Thankfully, my family are okay. Most of them are out of the country and my Dad hasn’t mentioned anything so I assume all is well.

I have my views/opinions on the conflict, but there’s a lot I don’t know and the older I get, the less certain I am about the things I once was.

As the token ‘Anglo/Iranian’ on this thread, I have found the comments very interesting!

A good range of views, and people taking the time to research.

Sadly, what choice do they have?

Iran’s focus has to be damage limitation. If they can come out of this with the country still intact, that’s a good outcome.

I don’t think Iran will end up like Iraq. Different people, different culture, very different regime. Targeted strikes should be enough to bring the regime to the table. They’re at their strongest when fighting indirectly, which they have been doing for years. They know they’ll lose a direct war. My feeling is they’ll come to the negotiation table pretty soon and we’ll see pause in hostility.

There isn’t the means for regime change from within the country, don’t be fooled by the street protests you see on the news. We might see the regime loosen up on certain things like some women’s rights, but it’ll always be just enough and never anything too radical.

My hope first and foremost is for the conflict to end and second to that, I hope the regime withdraws itself form Syria/Lebanon/Yemen/Iraq/Palestine, because this is what is causing the conflict. There’s no need for them to be involved. Leave the Arabs to sort themselves out.

That’s actually kind of funny considering Iran has the second largest Jewish population in the Middle East…
