Walsh v Nardi

Second goal yes but the first was Kolli's fault: back-header into a dangerous area.

And potentially Saito to add to the mix. On paper that's our most mouth-watering attack I can remember for a long, long time.

The QPR summer transfer rumours thread
at 00:36 13 Aug 2025

Him, Burrell and (in patches) Kolli were the main pluses from the game tonight I thought. Nardi's first half performance and distribution was solid and a good penalty save. Some of the youngsters did well but they needed more experience out there to help them shine. A few looked completely out of their depth even against a Plymouth team that included a fair few youngsters.

Who was this disaster down to tonight....
at 00:31 13 Aug 2025

"Ok Jules, the project dictates you can pick from these DS players tonight but you can throw in two or three fringe first-teamers. Furs will help you out. Remember, the result doesn't matter, cups don't matter its the long-term project that does."

There you go, JS picked the team!

Insulting or Inspiring?
at 23:41 12 Aug 2025

Nailed it. We looked under-cooked second-half on Saturday and that's down to Nourry and Williams. Preston way fitter and stronger than us second half. How many weeks pre-season do they get to sort that out? I sincerely hope these new players we are getting in hit the ground running, don't immediately get injured and can last 90 minutes, otherwise attention will start to focus on Ben "here are your favourite players" Williams. Patience is wearing thin and my god does this fanbase deserve some success.

For sure he had input, I'm not saying he was handed a piece of paper from CN/Williams and told to get on with it. But there are delusional people on here peddling the line that he picked that team himself, on his own. That would be throwing himself under a bus in just his second match in charge - why would you do that?

You honestly think Stefan picked that team on his own?

3-2 Plymouth. Terrible defending, no call from Nardi?

Plymouth's number 6 Szucs looks very good, gets up and down the pitch with ease.

Agreed, he looks good. Needs to head the ball away from the goal though, on a couple of occasions he's headed it straight to Plymouth players on the edge of the box. This game will do him the world of good though.

And that was some leap from Kolli. On the one hand I think he needs a good L1 loan, on the other he's staked a claim tonight, especially if Dembele switches to the right with Poku injured.

Kolli working very hard down the left. He just needs games.

Pearman struggling a bit in the 10 role. Being bullied off the ball.
