Only managed to catch the last 30 mins of the first half but on that performance those lads could teach the senior squad a thing or two about running and showing for the ball.

1-0 to be more accurate.

Follow that to its logical conclusion and we'd be limited to players from countries like Panama, Montenegro and Kazakhstan.

Andersen's an odd one, to be sure.

I thought he looked fantastic in the home game v West Brom last year. They couldn't handle him. But by the end of the season it was already clear why he'd ended up with us.

Rare example of good defending from Paal stops a certain fourth.

Good grief that was pathetic defending.

I wish we had as little about us as Coventry.

In the first week of January they were three places and three points behind us. Now they're ten places and fourteen points ahead.

Gaffer on Stoke game

Every team in the division bar the few top teams goes on bad runs periodically. We just don't notice as much when it's not us.

And the rest, well, every season since we were relegated has been a challenge and it's largely to do with budget.

Two sides well versed in finding ways to lose. But both can't lose. A bit of a conundrum this one.

He might have progressed since, but the 'great finisher' myth all stems from a solitary off the cuff remark by Warburton that's somehow morphed into a universally accepted truth.

Except it's not. And clearly neither Warburton nor any of his successors have believed it for a moment.

It's no mystery how Warnock did it - he had a division busting budget. And that's generally how it works in this division. We haven't had the budget in the last ten years so we've struggled.

Is 69 going to be enough for sixth?

Ah, obviously this was a bit too oblique.

The joke was that his pass completion rate for the spectators in the stands he passed to was exemplary.

OK, then, so we need 55.

That's a really mind-boggling temporal paradox you've given us there Ted. Because we only have one chance at going down this year, rendering the other 99 years moot.

Many who sit in the front rows of the SB stand and Paddocks would disagree with your assessment of his pass completion rates.
