Watching it live earlier today, it seems they only drew one number, and all of a sudden all five fixtures in Swansea's group were settled. How exactly does that work? Were they drawn in advance? How does the whole thing work? Anyone know?
You're of course right they're not as strong as they used to be, but it might nevertheless be worth noting that Petrolul beat Vitesse Arnhem, a very solid Dutch side (and where we bought Bony), in the previous round. I think it's safe to say Petrolul is the potentially biggest challenge for us, though Swans will obviously be the favorite no matter which of these five teams we draw.
The seedings are in, and the five possible teams Swansea can draw are: Apollon Limassol (Cyprus), Atromitos FC (Greece), FC Aktobe (Kazakhstan), FH Hafnarfjördur (Iceland) and FC Petrolul Ploieşti (Romania).
