Still the minor target of beating last season's 56pts - that'd be nice. Not easy though, by any means. Can we get a W and a D from the last 3 matches? |

1-1 would be a very good result. There's a great deal more space between us on the form table than there is on the actual league table.
Without Field, but with Morrison..... could be we get a 0-0 thrashing......also fine by me. |

Kyle Walker springs instantly to mind. He was class from the first and the rest of his career has pretty much backed that up. I know we don't benefit from the rest of his career, but a pretty stellar footballer to have once been a loan with us. |

Are we all so sure that Marti won't stay, or is his departure just being rolled into the general wave of pessimism? Personally, given that "the manager isn't the problem" seems to be a statement of fact to me, having a good manager under difficult circumstances seems preferable to change for change sake.
I mean if we're League One bound, also a common refrain now and last season, and Marti's leaving, why did we bother at all?
We do depressed very well on LFW.
I'd rather be where we are than where CCFC are right now - and they hate their owner with a passion. |

The Championship form table last six says no, the same for the last 10 says no. Teams below us and around us are picking up points. Apparently 49 for safety is looking likely but I think it's touch and go. What I wouldn't give for a streaky win at Oxford on Wednesday - we'll get thumped. |

Well, it's that isn't it? Who would be better? Who would be more convincing? I want him to stay and try to build something. It might seem unlikely, but not as unlikely as hoping that a new face will make a silk purse from a sow's ear. Taking over QPR last season was never going to be a recipe for a rapid turnaround. Our best team, on their best day can play well and win - when our best isn't available we all know it's hit-and-miss, and Marti knows that as well as anyone. |

Hard to argue with that. Just saw an article arguing that 48 points will be enough this season..still sounds hard to impossible. A draw against Swansea and a draw away at Preston? |
