My guess is Richards didn't like being a professional footballer its a very competitive and ruthless business which requires a high level of dedication,the rewards are there but i don't think its suited for everyone.

I used to be able to eat and drink whatever i liked and not put weight on, but when i gave up smoking put on 10 pounds within a year.Lost some of that now but cant get back to my normal weight.
When i was in Perth on holiday at the end of last year i saw a QPR fan wearing the red and white halves shirt.Unfortunately i could'nt stop him for a chat as we were both crossing a busy road in opposite directions.It was good to see though.
