| Forum Thread | listening to fans at 11:54 8 Oct 2015
hello all, I think we could agree that Chris Ramsey is not the most arrogant of managers, but if I were a new manager struggling to find my feet, then I would use every resource I could to help me solve problems or achieve success, and one of those resources would surely be the fans, especially if they were all saying the same thing. Now I know fans can be divided in their opinions of players, but surely when all fans with one voice are screeching that the team can be instantly improved with the removal of a certain player, then surely it makes sense to listen. So why Mr Ramsey's continuing selection of Karl Henry ? Is it evidence that Ramsey has no respect for the fans' opinions? or that he is unaware of what fans think? or that he thinks that nothing needs to be improved at all? or that he has listened and had a close look at Henry's performances, and genuinely thinks he's ok ? or does he believe that dropping Henry would be a sign of weakness under pressure and therefore undermine his position as boss as a whole? I look forward to your opinions |
| Forum Thread | booing zamora at 10:40 19 Aug 2013
I have read that some people are mystified by the fact that some fans boo Bobby Zamora, saying that it is totally counter-productive, and that it won't help him or the team in any way, and so,fans shouldn't do it. Well, I am prepared to own up to being a Zamora boo-boy, and the reason why I do it, is because I believe that he is a truly awful player, who not only fails to contribute but also tends to ruin the efforts of others by messing up attacking moves whenever he gets involved, so I firmly believe that the team would be much better without him, however I also reckon that Harry should have realised this long ago, and my hope is that a booing campaign against Zamora may first prompt Harry intodoing what he should have done a long time ago, and drop him, and second it may just make the player lose heart totally and either retire or seek another club. Both positives for the club in my opinion. |

having just read rollercoaster's piece on adel, and finding myself agreeing with everything that he said, I felt that I would like to send a message to Adel and express my thanks for the joy that he has brought to me and fellow supporters, and my regrets hat he has had to leave the club, and I was wondering if anyone else had done this, and how best to find an e-mail address for him. Thanks |

I always thought the way to build a team was by getting a decent spine in place. At this stage it looks like Harry's idea of a decent spine is Green/ Dunne/Henry/ Zamora. Oh Dear that spine would struggle in Div 1! |
