Happened regularly when I sat in the west paddock, most famous one was the day Joey Barton got sent off against Norwich, I had the hump, caught the ball and threw it quite hard back onto the pitch, it bounced off the top of the wall and smacked Elliot Bennet on the chin, 3000 canaries instantly gave me a chorus of “you fat bastard” one of the stewards informed me I could have been thrown out as it was no different to throwing a projectile onto the pitch!
