I live in Italy the home of espresso, capuccino, moka, espressino, ice coffee, .... you name it. There are more coffee bars than people here but everyone has still got a nespresso machine at home, me too but I don't drink it (my family do). For me it tastes sickly. I drink a spoonful of the lidl equivalent of gold blend (fairtrade I'm sure) with boiling water in an espresso cup, sometimes with a drop of milk. What does that make me? .... Jimmy Dunne (I'm happy to have the same poor taste). https://www.lidl.com/ |

Santa Claus doesn't exist.... But he did. He was a Bishop of Greek descent in Turkey. His bones were stolen by Italian sailors from Bari, where I now live and are kept in the Cathedral. In Bari he is celebrated on 7,8,9 May but St. Nicholas' day is 6th December. |

I feel Paal could have done a job ... better the devil you know... but more worrying is trying to understand who is deciding which players to keep on. In the end who is going to coach them day by day, decide their playing style and select the match day squad? Surely they must have a big say, even though in the modern game it's recruitment team who make the final choice. But who is this recruitment team? The CEO, the chairman and the head of recruitment? I think you need the input of someone more competent in footballing matters.. your head Coach ...but who is it going to be? |

That would be a great idea, I'm sure he would jump ship again to come back here. 🤣However, I would prefer Muslic! |

I'm not a regular to posting and I haven't watched the last couple of games due to work commitments, but I watched yesterday's game and my first thought was "Dunne done great" MOM 5* performance. When I last scrolled through the forum I saw him getting a lot of flak so I'm glad that this post has given him some credit. Credit to Marti too of course, but yesterday I saw Dunnie on wingback duty against the champions elect! CHAPEAU!! |

completely agree! His grasp of English let alone his grasp of modern football is echelons above that of at least his last 3 predecessors. What a breath of fresh air! |

Absolutely! Our stand-out player along with the "suspended Chair". Reminded me a bit of the Amos of a couple of seasons ago. Could be the answer to where our high-scoring midfielders have gone. You're right, it beggars belief as to why none of the previous managers thought of giving him a chance, after having a look at him for at least a whole pre-season! In comes someone who's been managing hundreds of miles away in another league, watches him train a couple of times and puts him straight in to the starting 11!! I hope this shows how good a choice the club have made with this appointment and not how bad the previous appointments were!! |

Well Willock has been a little off-colour recently, so a brave decision. If necessary he might be effective off-the-bench. No George Thomas .... that's a surprise You Rrs! 3-0 Dykes hat-trick |
