 | Forum Reply | Swansea City v Queens Park Rangers : Match day thread UPDATED at 21:03 22 Oct 2025
All my comments of this year are coming true. An absolute joke of a transfer window, the lack of any understanding of how team sports actually work is mind blowing. How a manager is meant to cope with this utter mess of a squad is beyond me. This new set up at the top of the club should stand up and admit their myriad mistakes. Let alone the £10 -£15 million we are going to lose im tohe transfer market before the dust settles. |

Inoussa is useless, we'd be better off playing with ten than having him anywhere near the playing surface - offers nothing when it really matters (£6 million what a massive waste of money, but he does fall over quite well and does a good job at appearing he's been shot by a sniper and having a lie down for 5 minutes. Widell looks completely lost 100%% of the time. "The last window was one of the best we have had in a decade, that’s accepted virtually everywhere," NOT BY ME - and the proof is in the pudding. We've brought in some excellent players and the owners have screwed it up by getting confused between the values of quality and quantity. |

Yalcouye, and Inoussa you must absolutely be joking! Idah looks utterly useless (£6 million- - mind you we did get £4million for that waste of space Grimes which the Snoop Dog gang on here thought was brilliant business) Jack 247 probably my favourite poster on here but you seem to be losing the plot recently. I am turning to be so right about my judgement on our "ludricous" transfer window. Have a look at the league table, am I right or wrong? |

Vigaroux has been superb today and all season. At least 2 players in the starting linr up nowhere godd enough to get in last year's squad, but there again we've had our best transfer window ever - give me strength!! |
 | Forum Reply | How is Alan Sheehan doing ? at 16:13 12 Oct 2025
Looking for any common sense on this forum is indeed a big ask. Almost every comment that I made after our ludicrous transfer window nonsense is coming true. Some very good players acquired, a number of players already surplus to requirements. Whoever approved of paying £6 million for Inousa should be banned from the Swansea .com for life. Young players with potential binned out the door. How any manager, regardless of experience could make sense of this mélange of tangled legs and careers is beyond me. Still Snoop Dog says he likes us so everything is all good (give me strength!) With a properly thought through transfer window we should have been comfortably sat in the top 6. I feel for you Alan sheehan. |

Not available on line. I wouldn't go through all that waiting if my seat was accessible on line. 2 1/2 hours wait, lucky I had stuff to do - online. |

After 32 minutes I have jumped from number 87 in the queue to number 69. Such a shambles I feel sorry for the staff who have to deal with the fall out on this mess! I reckon I will have to be prepared to wait at least 2 hours for a transaction that as a season ticket holder, should take no more than 10 minutes. |

I would love to know the dynamics of the boardroom table, I cannot believe the manager had much of a say on the transfers. Individually all good signings but football is a TEAM sport and today highlighted the problems we are going to encounter. If the manager had a say in the decision making, I take it all back. Less is more as we say in the real world. I have been the director of a football league club and the manager should be the man who rubber stamps every deal that is signed (Cannot see much evidence of that at present.) |

Have a real good long look at the squad, As I wrote I wish Sheehan the best of luck in the world getting his head around it all. What's you line up for today? |

I agree with your sentiments. I personally feel the manager has been shafted by the owners with this window. Goodness how he can his head around a team selection is beyond me. I think Sheehan has on he'll of a future as a manager but he needs Lady Luck on his Irish shoulder for the next few weeks. |

With two assists for their two goals yesterday, no surprise there! |

ALAN SHEEHAN - all the very best of luck to you today. The strangest looking squad with the smallest amount of time to gel everything together, you deserve to have the crowd 100% behind you no matter how messy it might get at times. First 20 minutes we need patience and luck. |

I've got a broken-down washing machine out the back that will do a better job than Vip. Spend a bit more time studying him during a match and it will blow your mind. "Mr Hide from the Ball 2024-2025 season" - outright winner. |

I saw Ellla Fitzgerald perform there - a once in a lifetime experience. |
