Got the cover for CB with Santos signing announcement, subject to int'l clearance. As for the BBC story, very, well-written article about stuff we already know. Thanks for the link, WR. |

I agree. I also stated the same a couple of months ago. I totally understand Darling's situation. If a fan wants to get upset, then get upset with the then owner in charge (AC) who didn't get HD signed when he should have (like last summer or last fall). |
 | Forum Reply | Oli McBurnie : Swans very much aware of a potential free transfer at 16:22 20 May 2025
I have always liked OMB but I think he's sincere when he says he's really enjoying life in the Canaries. He would be somewhat of a roll of the dice, imo. I think Montague & Co will be better off looking elsewhere for a goal scorer or two. They've (Swans) made a great start with Widell, Wales, and Inoussa. I'd rather see Darling signed than move sideways with an OMB signing. |

Seeing Delcroix's name on the list, but knowing he's a loanee, makes me wonder if the Swans will want to make an effort to get him via a loan or purchase this summer. Did he impress enough? What do you think will happen? |

Sounds like something LW would do, except for getting the next job! LOL! |

Wow! He's not doing himself or Swans FC any favors in allowing that video to be posted on social media. |
 | Forum Reply | Darling given an ultimatum plus what next ? at 03:20 10 May 2025
No, now's not the time to play hard ball. Since we've told him that our latest offer is the best we can do (this summer), leave it at that. Also remind him that as he saw at the tail end of the season that Swans are building up to a fabulous 2025-2026 season, and emphasize that it's highly likely that we'll be challenging for a play-off spot, with or without him. However, we'll be in a better position to challenge for a top two automatic spot if he's with us. Tell him if that happens, then we can discuss/review his part in the upcoming season, and re-negotiate his contract on a warranted basis. It may come down to how well the Swans management project optimism for the upcoming season. If he buys in to the optimism, their outlook, their story, then it's very likely he'll sign on. |

I agree! We've had a bunch of really good keepers over the years since Fabianski. LV's one of the best in the Championship right now, and am glad to read that he's happy & enjoying life at Swansea! |
 | Forum Reply | Jay Fulton at 16:14 8 May 2025
I very much agree! Fulton is a "wrecking ball", brought in to disrupt the opposition's flow of game. Very important that Swans have a back-up to Franco, who is deservedly the starter for this position on the field. No, I don't think he'll be offered an extension at current wages but since we have him, there's no harm in using him as in relief of other defensive midfielders. Unfortunately for him, he participated in the Matt Grimes/Martin ticky-tack football mentality that we all despised. Never understood why he was in Martin's doghouse for almost half a season with both Martin and the club trying to make him look like the villain. On the bright side, he has on rare occasions contributed a goal or two, but blowing up the opposition's counter is his forte. |

Yes, I'd prefer Hull as well since it's the longest travel & Hull always seem to compete for the same players as Swans. |

According to BET365 right now: Bristol is favored to win their game with visiting PNE; 1.750 3.600 4.750 Derby is favored to win their game with Stoke; 2.050 3.000 4.200 Portsmouth is favored to lose their game with Hull; 3.100 3.700 2.100 Swans are favored to win their game with Oxford; 1.650 4.000 4.750 WBA are favored to lose their game with Luton; 3.000 3.400 2.300 If the above holds true, then PNE would be the unlucky one! |
