I went to the Gym until Zi was 70 when Covid struck
I haven’t been back as I was just going through the motions
My daughter had her own PT business and she was a great advocate of stretching before doing anything
Cycling is good although it can raise your PSA if you ever have it tested
Running is tough on the joints
Best is swimming
I’m lucky in being a strong ( still) swimmer and we go twice a week
Not the 100 lengths I used to do but a decent 32 at a good lick
Time yourself
It keeps joints supple without strain
Just swim until you get puffed , rest a bit then go again
Don’t just amble about gabbing as some do
Finally , don’t breaststroke as it’s too tempting simply cruise
It’s front crawl or back stroke for me anyway
And doubly finally , do it early morning as it’ll set you up for the day

My missus did have a heart attack in the pool last ZJuky but it wasn’t due to swimming itself .

The death sentence still apies in Utah
If caught and convicted , can’t see Don commuting the sentence at all
Even though it’s a Mormon state , the church is officially neutral on this although previously they backed blood atonement
