with the pre season camp rapidly approaching i am hoping the bulk of players the manager wants will be there to take full part and get the bedding in done, not when we have proper games with points to win at stake, understand the finance situation but for me it is impereative the squad can be as comlete as possible for this trip, but will have to wait and see

Japan v Wales

Many many years ago in a conversation with the late Brian Thomas he said untill Wales can produce big hard forwards we would struggle, we are now back in that situation in my opinion, we both know the side that dominates up front has the better chances of a win our front 5 are small compared with most teams even the japanese, but hat second half performance was one if not the worst i have watched in many many years, and again does not bode well for the future

Here comes the summer transfer rumour thread
at 08:56 1 Jul 2025

just hope the club can get the main transfers done and dusted so the players can all get the benifit of preseason together to help the "bedding in" as our manager wants, still a lot to be completed in my opinion for us to be REALLY competative this season

Darling given an ultimatum plus what next ?
at 07:58 12 May 2025

Whilst not blaming him about looking to see whats out there and if as has been reported he has been offered the best deal we can afford then with our current recruitment team on the case they must have given him a date to sign for us by ( as has been reported) if by said date he has not done so withdraw the offer and move on, the club today has done what it can, if he does not want to be part of whats looking like a positive looking upcoming season with people who now know what they are doing rather than what has gone on in the past then sorry to say but ADIOS

Joe Allen & Kyle Naughton
at 08:36 3 May 2025

morning every one, think a lot wont like what im saying but Mr Coalman also leaves today and whilst not a fan of his he put his money in and whilst totally out of his depth in the u k soccer world tried to move the club in the right way but was held back by we all know who, and to be fair he has put together the new consotium that looks ( saying looks as early days) to be moving in the correct direction since they have come in, so as i say not all or even one may agree but i for one wish him and his family well in the future
It goes without saying watchin the young Joe Allen burst onto the scene and a top Kyle Noughton join us and be both top players during theirn time at Swansea wishing them well also in what ever the future holds for both, the memories of both playingwill be with us evermore best of luck lads

with all the early talk of guys coming in looking like we may , just may have something positive happening for a change and if so and the manager and D O F speak in positive mode there is a chance we could keep Darling and he could be part of the club moving forwards and maybe upwards as well, who knows?

morning all, well i for one am wondering on the cost comparison, compo to his current club for him and his coaching team and salarys for them all for what they could bring which of course would reduce the transfer budget for incoming guys vs what we have and those costs, glad im not in charge tho to have to make those choices, but it must be said Mr Sheehan is doing a top job no matter of the results to the end of the season and everyon has to start somewhere

Am hoping for a good performance in another hard game, not interested in anything other than a Swasea win, but be aware this is NOT a push over no game in this div
this is where the concistancy comes in and this game will show if the lads are buying into Mr Sheean s way , hope they are , best of luck lads

he could set up the same on wednesday, his job is to keep us in this div, at the moment its working another 3 points on wednesday, which will NOT be easy should see us safe for next season, I think he ( Sheean) has and is doing a fair job with a not too much quality squad.
Now as to our next head coach thats another story, but give the lad credit he is getting results that were and are needed

this on paper at least is looking like a defeat, the game is not played out on paper is it? whilst in my head can only see 1 winner the lads can prove , including me wrong.
As long as we work hard give it all without going over the top, we possibly could nick a point, what we MUST not do is go down to a loss like we have had in other games
Lads hoping you will suprise lots of people and safe trip to everyone going

🔴 Likely candidates for the Swans job
at 07:11 18 Feb 2025

this next appointment will give us an idea of where the new owners/board want to go,will they just be plodding along or like brum go for it?
whoever they decide on will need money to spend and if they want to be contenders and stay in this div( as a first priority) they need to go for a top draw experianced guy (who will cost a few bob) he will want a budget to bring in guys in the summer and might even convince Mr Darlling to stay to help take the club upwards maybe?, again more money, its not going to be done on the cheap sorry to say, can it be done within the fair play rules ? not sure as they are hoping to change, but for me this next appointment with our new D O F now in place will show what the new owners are aiming for
got everything crossed that is going to put Swansea back in a competative spin upwards and not the other way

think i read somewhere he is here for the "forseable future"
If the board (the new one) know whats going on and its their money, we have years of supporting the club since we were all in school( a very long time ago in my case lol) and its in our d n a I was hoping for an improvement when Mr Coalman and his contacts took over but its worse than before,
if its down to money for not making changes and positive ones at that why did they agree to buy us? they must have know what the problems are,
Mr Chairman and board, dont fanny about get someone who knows what the correct way to sort this utter carnage out or your investment like the club will go down the tubes, fans leaving sponcers leaving an utter embarisment
