We’ve had such a deeply average season I couldn’t be arsed to engage with any retrospective look back until now but I’m so glad I did - the meander into “la viage” was genius. God bless you NorthernR I know it’s been said a lot but let’s say it again, you make supporting QPR worthwhile and not many can claim that (including a lot of the players) Agree 100% on Frey as well. The man is useful |

Was part of a long-running six a side team called Bocca Genius. Also played for ten years for a Sunday league side called Sapporo. Not a standout name but we decided to form a team while euphoric after England’s World Cup victory there during the Japan World Cup. Turned out to be a good move when our enterprising captain got in touch with Sapporo beer and for a couple of years they sent us a crate of cans for each game to go the man of the match (they never went to the man of the match) |

Echo all the other posts, that was a great night out. I wasn’t expecting much as have never really seen the dev squad play and thought we’d probably get a doing, but the atmosphere and quality of play was outstanding. Credit to the club for a performance like that Was Wilkie number 4 at the back? He had a great game. Sutton looks like he’s got the attitude to go far, Morgan ran the game, the Brazilian left back looks like he’s heading for the first team as well Lovely way to end the season. |

The first time I ever went to Johnannesberg for work I arrived at about midnight thanks to a delayed flight and realised my phone didn't work, my bank card didn't work, I had no local cash, and no way of getting hold of my local contact (this was 20 years ago). As I stood outside the airport feeling sorry for myself Robert Mugabe swept past with full security detail and they shoved me out of the way. Was a warm welcome |

Madness they didn’t just put a £5 fee on from the get go. Pretty sure almost everyone would have paid it without blinking and that would be a healthy Chuck of cash to cover the expenses of putting on the game |

We have to wait for the results of the Slovenian relegation play-off next week - it’s going to be either Carlos Clipboardini or Rolf Ipadski but whoever loses will be cheaper [Post edited 9 May 12:17]

Surprising myself by how much I want Bristol City to win this with a Sinclair Armstrong last minute cracker - always had a great time down there and they could do with it. |

Weirdly I’m also about to enter gardening leave for the summer because my boss is an over promoted arrogant cnt who I disagreed with every day. To allow such a popular and clearly talented manger to leave in this way is an abject failure as CEO. If he’s going then fine, it’s football, it happens, bank the compo and move on. Say thank you Creating this level of drama stinks of inexperience [Post edited 29 Apr 22:15]

Once that Alfie Lloyd goal went in they probably thought there’s no harm in closing the vote - it’s a shoe-in |
 | Forum Reply | Marti, stick or twist? at 19:18 18 Apr 2025
If Marti leaves that will be a catastrophic failure by Nourry as CEO for me. Best manager we’ve had in a hell of a long time |

Mad Sen’s Road road to redemption continues - another good half from him I really hope that’s not the end of Koki at Rangers, been a wonderful signing |
 | Forum Reply | Jimmy Dunne Will he stay or will he go at 00:02 17 Apr 2025
Sadly I think he’ll be off but with all our blessings. Him, Chair, Cook and Field can hold their heads up and say they kept QPR as a Championship club in the most trying of times. Dunne has been immense the last two seasons, we should I and I hope we are trying to keep him but I reckon any Championship club will be eyeing him up. Wins almost every header he goes for in any box - that is something every team wants |

Enjoyable game to watch with the pressure off for us, we looked quality for the first 20 minutes. The Asian munchkins and Madsen were playing some lovely stuff. Ronnie Edwards was absolute class, he’s going to go far. Sat at the back and controlled the game, and him and Morrison were actually finding advanced midfielders with their passing. Who knew. Nice that we’re ending the season like this with basically a reserve team. I hope Marti stays as one day one of his teams is going to click |

Well, I don’t want to get too excited, but fair play to our Danish Pirlo. I kind of saw the point of him today |

Given Field, Paal and Smyth could all be out as well God knows what Dad’s Army ragtag rabble are going to be playing today… We must be close to missing an entire first team now Is the Crown and Sceptre still shut? |

Marti needs to reinvent himself as a high effort, channel ball, play the percentages manager. He’s good at it. When we go into games looking to outwork and outfight the opposition we look so much better I would even say I saw the point of Nicholas Madsen in that first half. And fair play to Bennie who has been elevated several levels out of his comfort zone but is not looking totally out of place |
 | Forum Reply | Well that was bloody awful! at 22:12 5 Apr 2025
I dunno if the sun and the general end of winter has left me feeling too happy but I didn’t think it was that bad It’s an injury ravaged team missing pretty much all of its best players that wasn’t that great a team in the first place. To say it’s one of our worst ever performances doesn’t even go back one week, we were way worse against Stoke. I can’t fault their effort, once that’s in question it’s a different story, but today looked like a semi reserve team trying hard. [Post edited 5 Apr 22:13]
