The whole thing is an embarrasment, unprofessional. Head of Performance or Consultant?
I agree with lassel. Ben Williams methodology, which seemed to work so well during the 23/24 season, could have been implemented and run by the clubs Performance Department last season with Williams always available to advise. Last season Williams methodology didn't work. Were we lucky with injuries during the 23/24 season or unlucky last season? If our injury record is poor again next season then surely it would be Williams last.
Why would Ben Williams choose QPR over the Brooklyn Nets? You would have to assume that the Nets would offer Williams a much larger salary. Perhaps the Nets decided to let him go resulting in him deciding to return to his old job.
Ben Williams return to the club is seemingly not a straight forward appointment and no one would be surprised to read in a few months time that Ben Williams has left the club to join.....
