Been to games in Denver and San Francisco a long time ago, we are talking Elway and Montana! I do enjoy watching it and support these teams. It is a bit strange though when teams up sticks and move to another part of the country.

Agree that we do need a box to box 8 although I don't think we need a false 9.
A decent box to box 8 helps with both the high press and the low block. They can also use the half space and cover an inverted full back.
They can help with an overload, double pivot when the time is right, be quick with a transition, look between the lines especially when the opportunity to recycle presents itself. |

Neither is good enough but Walsh is still a good prospect who needs to be gradually introduced to first team football, not thrown in the deep end. |

Four months is a long time in football and by the time the next window opens we might have got a deal struck with Southampton.
We might need a keeper by then, improved offers could arrive for Varane, we might have picked up a few more injuries in one position, the club might receive offers for Madsen, who at 6ft 4ins tall, is head and shoulders above most of our squad. |

I wonder how much it cost us to release Richards by mutual consent? Pleased that this little sage has come to an end.
I thought we might get Ronnie on loan. Disappointing that we didn't get him this time around but pleased that the club didn't pay more than it could afford. |
