The situation now reminds me of when we got spanked 5-0 at home by Swansea - and a couple of days later we panic bought Julio Caesar and Bosingwa on mega wages, without any improvement.
IMO our big problem is that Nourry wants the whole club, in all age groups to play a certain way. The trouble is all our opponents know that too!
Results only improved last season when Cifuentes went against that model - which seems to be when he fell out with Nourry and led to him going.
I just hope that Stephan is allowed to end this madness and Cifuentes did - but after the team selection for Plymouth, which was obviously imposed on him by Nourry, I doubt that will happen. |

"The arrival of Harvey was an opportunity to bring in a high-potential homegrown player who we believe can be an asset for our first-team squad in the future.
“During the club’s medical process, an MRI of Harvey’s lower back revealed a bone stress injury. This is becoming a more common injury in younger developing players.
“Despite this we decided to push ahead with the deal as we believe in the player’s potential. This is an injury which will fully heal and cause no long-term issues.
“The club will be using this rehabilitation period to work on Harvey’s physical development so he returns for the 2025/26 pre-season ready to have an impact.” |
