Me & my friend got to the pearl st turnstiles at just before two. I thought they would open early for an increased crowd. However not to be. Anyways, two turnstiles opened (I thought any time now the other two will open) . Sure enough they didn’t, the chap in front of me had four tickets on his phone, took a few minutes to process them all, the last one would just not scan. Almost as embarrassing as the football & don’t get me started on the fulll time disgusting scenes! |

Was it a game to open the new main stand? Also years later, Dale played Man U again in a behind doors friendly, and a certain Eric Cantona played, while he was banned. I think they got into a spot of bother for that. |
