| News Comment | Gao Sells Controlling Interest In Lander Sports ! What Does It Mean To Saints ! at 12:14:13
What a passion in these words, I must say! Nick, we are not in front of Parliament just before final speach of PM, before she is getting to be kicked by her chair in Thames River, for example. Relax....I think, sooner than later, all the supporters will understand what is hiding behind Lander Stock's Sell. Personally, I presume Gao was forced to do that by some political and economical reasons related with his status in China, more or less. |

Nick, sorry, but you are repeating my post wrote by me 1 month ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was obvious for everyone who played football and know the game, that Hughes is completely inadequate and weak as a manager. Now, 1 month later, you are going to agree with "these supporters who should stop moaning and support the club". NO, Nick - this is you, who should start see the picture more earlier than the person in the tunnel who saw the train is coming in front of him just a second before it hits him!!!!!!!! |
| News Comment | Saints Linked With Ex Monaco Manager. at 13:39:57
I'll be glad to see Hughes OUT and to see Jardim IN, but I am not sure that Jardim is a spoon for our mouth at all. In the present days, the Siants team is ruined, in my opinion. He is not expiring with a style of playing and results as well. Honestly speaking, currently the team is the worst team in PL. No defense, no attack - we have nothing. And it is not the fault of the players.....who are pathetic, most of them. But if we want to stay in PL this year we should sack abysmal Hughes and take someone like Jardim or Alardyce. We need someone to kick some asses... |
| News Comment | Saints Fans Should Focus On The Real Problem ! at 16:00:32
Nick, sorry, but your posts sound like you are advocate of the Board. No reason to do that, Nick. Just sit and relax. I have one or two historical questions for you. In the well-known popular understanding, who lost the battles for Stalingrad and Waterloo? Is it Germany and France or it is Hitler and Napoleon? I am not expecting answers of these questions but if you think about these two questions, you will understand how funny sounds your post about Ross Wilson!?!?!?!?!?! Wilson is only small part of the problem, Nick. We are doing nothing all last TWO SEASONS. Kruger and Less Reed brings in Puel, Pelllegrini and Hughes. They bought these players and there is no excuse about that. The team can bear 1-2 bad transfers but when this account is go to up 7-8 players as bad decisions, you are in trouble. The managers are "silent witness" of the Board decisions and that's the truth. We all know that. That's why Koeman and Pochetino move away, not only because of money. Koeman said when he left that "Southampton Project" is finished on this stage. There is no way to go further, not because we are selling our best players but because the structure and hierarchy is killing the positive football logic. If you are not able to buy good players, you will go down for sure. That's simple. |
| News Comment | Saints V Chelsea The Verdict at 09:29:07
Guys, Hughes MUST BE FIRED IMMEDIATELY!!! Why? Because his record for the first 9 games are SIGNIFICANTLY WORSE than this of Pellegrino for these games who was a moron!!!!!! What are we discussing here? The football players were shite!?!? They are, actually. But who brought the players in? I am not telling you that it is Hughes, but Hughes was OK with all the selection, obviously. We cannot fire 15 players and bring in another 15 players, right? What is the only way to do is to fire the Manager and to find the way for motivation and good management of the games-starting eleven, right subs, right tactics, etc. I wrote yesterday the main issues with Hughes Management and I must say that - they are significant. Shortly here: he is not training well the squad-the players are very tired after 70 minutes of each game, he is not able to find the best tactic and best eleven, and the subs in the matches are late and not adequate. From the other hand the selection was disaster and he is not giving a chance to the players from Academy at all. I can't see the Board criteria which could give Hughes the reason to stay.... |
| News Comment | Solid Start To Season For Saints at 10:41:24
Generally, I agree that probably 4 points are OK on this stage. But if we revert and review the gameplay of the team, it is a lot of worry. You mentioned Hoedt- it is one of the worst center backs, I've ever seen. He is now lucky that Vestergard is good enough to cover his permanent lapses, in my opinion. Moi-he is ridiculous. He is not even on the level of Prowse at all. What to discuss the idea to replace Tadic-it will never happened. sparky went wrong with Boufal in my opinion, who is difficult character I agree, but he has potential to bring much more creativity and danger than Moi. Long-he is just overrated. If we release him now, he will not be able to secure PL football for himself, but we keep him in the starting elevn. In the same time Gabbi is not even in the substitutes!? I think, Sparky will face significant difficulties this season because of his non-sense decisions in the selection. I just mentioned 3 players form the starting eleven who should not play at all, in my opinion. The other thing is man management. After 70 minutes in Palce's game, the opposition starts to do one simple thing: crosses to the right flank where Cedric /which is probably the main reason we lost games with Everton and Leicister/ was absolutely smashed in the air by Palace players and manager did nothing to prevent that to happened up to the end of the game, which is another worry signal, in my opinion. |
| News Comment | Day 16 ! Over Half The Window Gone at 13:59:44
There are two possible scenarios: 1. Gao The Muppet is came to destry the club selling all players /litterally/ and to bring us to the championship and make additional cash /profit/of arround 30 mil.plus. That's absolutely real and we should think about that. 2. The Board / The Hockey Player and Less The Lumbur/ are still considering options of new manager to replace Pellegrino and that's why there are no new signing. This scenario is unlikely to be true. I don't know what's actually happen with the club behind the curtains but it is smell like a big shite,ok. |
| News Comment | Saints At Tottenham Hotspur The Verdict at 14:18:22
OK, good comments here I read. About Spurs game: it was rubbish in every aspect. No defense, no good midfield work, no attack. We scored two absolutely random goals-Llorris did big mistakes for both of goals and that's the reality. We need 3 major things to do ASAP: 1. Sack Pelegrino he is totally useless. This will improve the character and believe of the most of the players. The bad thing is that we lost the chance to have Pulis, Moyes or Alardayce who are all descent managers and all they could lead us to the secure shore up to the end of the season and then we will have time to find the right manager for the next season. Now, we'll be happy if someone like Slaven Billic will come - that's the reality. So, we need right choice with respect to find a good replacement of Pelegrino. 2. Immediately, we need to sell VVD - 50-60 mil. is a fair and good price. We don't need this selfish b*stard at the dressing room at all. It was the biggest mistake that we kept VVD in the summer-he ruined the squad and atmosphere. 3. We need at least three good new players in the winter transfer window. We need: Central Defender - Bednarek and Gardos are jokes, and if te new manager will want to play 3-5-2, then we need a third good central defender. We need a fast and sharp winger. For me Redmond is a total disaster - he is ridiculous with his game play. Boufal is a good winger from the other side but we need the other side to be reinforced. And of course we need a striker. Lond should be sold also immediately - he is useless in all the aspects. I am not sure if he could play even in Champiohship now. So, we need striker. Matej Vydra from Derby could be a good option, but of course there are also other options. If we wait to pass the Palace game it will be waste of time - Pelegrino should be sacked even now. The logic is that the Board is already in the process of searching of a good replacement. If we wait too much to perform these 3 steps, this could cost us relegation and that's for sure. |
| News Comment | A Crucal Week For Pellegrino But Are His Problems Of His Own Making ! at 14:39:13
Mo Pe won Everton's crucial game. Now he is facing another one. Huddersfield is a significantly worse side than Everton, but in the same time they are running and fighting a lot. If the players deicide to sack in Saturday Mo Pe they will do it and they will lose the game. If they want to keep it-they will win. It is easy. What is more curious is what happen actually in the squad and I think there is a "Burried a dead donkey". VVD saga has ruined the morale. The Board made a misstake to not sell him in the summer and streghten the squad. Mo Pe came with an idea to be the same profile as Puel but to acchieve more as a concrete results. If we going back we will see that Puel was in the "silent and hidden conflict" with some main players - Tadic, Redmond, Bertrand, Forster, etc. Now, Mo Pe is in my opinion in the conflict with more players than before: VVD, Davis, Tadic, Redmond, Hoedt, Gabiadini, Long, etc. With respect to that there are two ways: 1. If Mo Pe stabilized the squad, to perform significant changes in the squad at the summer /which is unlikely/. 2. If Mo Pe failed and he get fired than we need very carefully to look for some with more experience and good name in English Footbal then to hire someone who will be a "perfect stranger". But I cannot agree with the statement that Saturday game will give more clarity iver the future of the team. The players looking generally demotivated and lost confident in their abilities. They need to be somehow shaken and wake up. This could be done by a manager like Van Gaal or someone with this calibre, I afraid... |
| News Comment | Saints Board Should Not Act In Haste ! at 11:06:16
OK, I read a lot here the last two days. What we need to do is very simple: we need changes. The problem with the changes is that we need a lot of changes in a lot of places of club's ierarchy. 1. It is obvious that we need to change Pelegrino. He is obviously can't even to learn from his own misstakes. He can't to select the right eleven for the concrete game or to manage the team during the game. 2. We need to change obviously some players which are far from a good form the last two seasons: Forster, Long, Tadic, Bertrand, Austin are very far from what the form we need for our squad. 3. We need to change some people in the Board. Someone must take responsibility for the last two failures with manager appointments and with a bad selection of the players. In my opinion, Les Reed and Kruger are in the scope here. I agree that Les Reed gave a lot in the past, but in the last two years he ruined almost everything /especially this year/. When is the right time for these changes? 1. According to my opinion we lost pretty much precious time and games with Pelegrino. We will lose in Sunday - I am sure about that. So, probably even if we fire Pelegrino today-it is waste of time. We need someone hardworker who is already adopted in PL. I assume, Eddie Howe, Sean Dyche, even Chris Houghton will be in this category. We don't need foreign managers at this particular moment. 2. In my opinion we could sell Tadic and Long even in the winter transfer window. We need real attacking creatve midfilder and a at least one striker-preferably with a good shot and to be 6 ft and even more. For the other players from the list - they could be sold in the summer, but in my opinion they reached their maximum level. 3. Changes at the Board should be planned. That's why in my opinion both should be replaced in the summer. |
