Saints lose again

Personally, I watched enough from Hughes. It is not because I didn't like him-the opposite! I thought he will bring more passion and hard ball moment from our opponents, especially in home games. But nothing like this happened. The summer selection was really awful - it is not only guilt of Hughes, of course, but it is only one of the main issues.

What can we say about Hughes? He is unpredictably inconsistent as a manager. What is the essence of that? He started and play ALL PRE-SEASON FRIENDLIES with 5-3-2. He realize the team is in very bad condition physical and mental and go immediately in the PL with 4-4-2, where he was not sure who will play as a pair for example in the central defense. From the other side, he prefers some players /which are TOTAL DISASTER/: Moi cannot play even in Champioship, I afraid. In the same time Hughes continuously not give a chance to Gabbiadini. As a third issue, HE IS NOT USING THE ACADEMY PLAYERS AT ALL. He decided to left Sims in Championship, Gallagher and JWP are victims of his inability to structure the squad . Stephens is not worse than Vestergard and Hoedt and he is even better than them in attacking plan. As a next issue, I would point at the BAD MANAGEMENT of the all played matches so far: wrong substitutes or late subs bring us lost points in the games against Burnley, Brighton, Leiciester, Everton, etc. The next issue is a really bad physical form from the beginning of the season. The players look tired and they cannot switch on the next tire if they need to do that. And finally-I can't see any strategy of Saint's matches. The team are very bad in defense and it is still a lot of fruitless matches without goals. Personally, I think we shall be involved in relegation battle this season. I would suggest to fire immediately Hughes and to appoint figure of the caliber of Van Gaal or Sam Alardice and the things will be much better.
