5 Things About The Pompey Game

1- The match reaffirms my utter hatred for skates
2- The (Ports) myths flying around about our support which is total and utter crap, never heard them from the Northam.
3 - Looking forward to watching the skates bus parade for the nil - nil draw
4 - Fuming we never tested the sub Keeper
5- Subs came on 10 minutes late for the second game in a row.

Travels with England

Done various aways with England, did the Poland/Norway world cup qualifiers back in 1993, great trip, went through loads of countries on a 72 seater, think only half came back if i remember. Lots got involved in an under 21 game and got deported !! Did the Euro's last year as well, Great time in Dussledorf.

New Refreshments in Northam Concourse

Bought 5 pints (Asahi) before the game ready to collect at half time, half time comes along and the young girl says i can only collect 4 and need my manager to authorise the 5th !! The manager was changing the barrel and came out 5 minutes before the players came back out !! I thought this was all about saving time, also what were they they doing all first half to then change the barrel at the busiest time of the day.

Why allow us to buy 5 pints if your not allowed to serve 5 pints, not her fault but come on Southampton FC, not good enough.

Five things about Ipswich

1- We looked ok, lack of creativity from anything infront of Charles & Downes. Don't know where the goals are going to coming from though (Leeds 89 Burnley 69 last season)
2- Nice reception for the little skate *rick Chaplin when he came on especially when Shea Charles went through the back of him
3- Miracle when Szmodics got up after looking like he'd been shot (good "it's a miracle song" as well) :)
4- Noticed we get alot of players in the box when we do attack (look at the goal we scored)
5- No flags allowed at the front of the stand unless it was tiny (footballs gone bonkers)

5 Things About Northampton

1 - Ref was shocking (again)
2 - Thought Northampton were good (if they could finish we'd be out)
3 - Can see why WS is not starting Downs up top in the league (enough said)
4 - Massive hole between our holding players and striker
5 - Some bloke got chucked out near us within 10 minutes of the game starting (proper nob of a steward)

5 Things From The Wrexham Game

1- Sugawara needs learn to take a throw in to feet !!
2- Flynn Downes was very good seeing as his first game back
3 - Jurys out on Damion Downs (Thought Stewart was better when he came on)
4 - Loved the celebrations when the 2nd went in (bodies everywhere around us) :)
5 - Collected my beer easy enough at half time after ordering before the match started (Was in the Northam)
