a very bland and fairly off the shelf shopify site and theme. there is a lot that can be done with Shopify, so hope that it is in the pipeline and this is just a manged release, nto a rushed one! depending how they go about it, it will consolidate stock / inventory system, payment, heavily social media driven, new AI options, campaigns and CRM (it remembers who bought what and their details), integrate in to klarna and other things at no cost to the club but helps consumers, etc. all at a reason cost to the club.
It's a good move and one I suggested to the old commercial lots several years back (when that shotgun ticketing and shop contract was awarded...), fingers crossed they embrace it as it will only grow. |

It was mentioned on Saturday that players like Bird see their contract expire 31/05, what would this mean for a play off final played 01/06? would they then be unavailable? |

I think the alternative is actually the physical card, with the digital being the default and standard offer. They've not offered physical as default for a couple of years. The digital is held in your app now (which is actually an app, not like the incumbent supplier) [Post edited 28 Apr 15:07]

Well done to the club. downloaded the app and registered this morning, and just renew my SC in 37 seconds... Am hoping it wont ask for the address every time like the last app did, but that was a good experience! |

Anyway the Dale website could start with a live weather banner across the home page for a start...
Traffic news etc.
Why? this is built in to windows and most browsers by default. |

Interesting feedback. I would normally sponsor a player, and usually look to do hospitality and possibly a match sponsorship. I stopped when SG was in charge, and knowing he is still there doesn't float my boat following the experience of him in charge. this review isn't making me want to review this.
in addition, I did reach out to explore the commercial opportunities pre season this year and was told it will be a few weeks and they'd be in touch. they haven't. looking at the team page on the fishul site, this comment in the player sponsorship package just isn't happening: "Sponsors will also have their name and/or company logo alongside their player’s picture on the Club website...". this isn't the first time, I experienced this in 2022 were it took a long while for the logo to appear on the player... Worrying that we are not learning lessons or delivering what is being offered and committed, and they cant blame the new site as that has been in for a while now. |
