In 2017 football's world governing body Fifa warned Trump that travel bans could hinder the USA's joint bid for the 2026 World Cup. Fifa president Gianni Infantino said: "It's obvious when it comes to Fifa competitions, any team, including the supporters and officials of that team, who qualify for a World Cup need to have access to the country, otherwise there is no World Cup. The requirements will be clear."
That ban was eventually overturned by Trump's successor Joe Biden in 2021.
The above is from a BBC article. Remains to be seen if Infantino has the balls to challenge Trump. I wouldn’t put money on it. They should never have been given it in the first place. |

With the World Cup being staged in Canada, Mexico and the US next year Donald Trump has embraced the event and issued a travel ban on twelve countries.
Iran, who have already qualified for the finals, are included in that ban, together with three others, Haiti, Sudan and Venezuela, who also have a chance of qualification.
No supporters from these countries will be allowed to attend, if their group games are held in the US. So FIFA will have to either manipulate the draw or turn a blind eye, but, as yet, are refusing to comment.
This is all against a backdrop of Trump’s dodgy ICE agents rounding up and deporting mainly Latino immigrants.

The solicitor acting for these two released a short clip to the media not long after the incident, showing an officer kicking and stamping on one of the defendants.
This resulted in a show of Muslim force outside a police station in Rochdale. If that’s not incitement I don’t know what is. |

The Cwmfelin Club closed for safety reasons. What was initially thought to be a sinkhole turned out to be water course under the club caused the ground to collapse. Currently in the hands of insurers/solicitors. |

Without the US, we more or less have a European army, plus Canada, in NATO. Under Trump we can no longer rely on their support and as recent meetings have shown Europe has woken up. Not a moment too soon. |

Strange that you don’t mention the invasions of Transnistria, Chechnya (twice) and Georgia. Don’t tell me, the ruSSian speaking population were being persecuted in each case.

Trump has never forgiven Zelensky for refusing to investigate Hunter Biden’s involvement in Burisma. Trump was trying to link Joe Biden to payments made to Hunter.
With regard to that White House charade, would Trump entertain the leader of the kremlin crime cartel, Putin, in the same manner? Utterly despicable. |
