I’m going to see them at Wembley in September, looking forward to seeing them, Cast and Richard Ashcroft for the whole event. I’ve seen Oasis before and it’s a good day/night out. But as you’ve said further down, they are extremely limited, past the second album they are very bland and samey and them claiming to be the best bad going is laughable. They aren’t in the same league as the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Muse, Blur and as others have said, Pulp come back with a cracking new album. My FB is currently awash with loads of family and friends off to Heaton Park tonight and tomorrow who I had no idea liked Oasis, it’s just an excuse to go out and have the craic and fair do’s. |

Dyche will be primed and ready on the tank when a bottom half of the league team sack their manager early doors. My money would be on Leeds binning off Daniel Farke. |

So far watched Supergrass, Franz Ferdinand and Inhaler, all of which were great. Just watched Pulp who smashed it. The decision to not show Kneecap is just pathetic. As you say Starmer is a tw4t, he’s an embarrassment to the Labour Party, the sniveling little turd. Just turned on the Ezra Collective and that looked great fun for the crowd. |

I was down there today to get a recce of the set up for tomorrow (Ocean Colour Scene, Cast, Echobelly). It looks like the bars inside are open with food outside and the gigs outside with the stage backing onto above bar by Scholars. It looks a decent set up. |

They were thinking of a way of City and Chelsea being able to buy players as they have so many restrictions on them and poor Chelsea have ran out of hotels and women’s team to sell (although they are due to sell their over 75’s walking football team for 100m, to themselves). They were going to do a go fund me. But thankfully FIFA agreed to host a charity fundraiser tournament for them. Modern football, love it. [Post edited 12 Jun 8:54]

I will be following avidly as both clubs get a load of money to add to their swag as they diligently navigate the pitfalls of PSR, representing our great nation in this classy competition before cry arsing like a petulant child when they have to play two domestic games in a week in winter and comparing their plight to modern day slavery. You’ve got to love modern football. |

I’m not a fan of Tuchel, he seems a strange appointment given he barely lasts long at any club he’s been too and England’s success through Southgate was based on building relationships with players over a period of time. Also not enamored with his comments about picking players who are playing in European competitions. Already sounding like a closed shop and plays into the hands of snidey clubs when hovering around good players at the so called smaller clubs. |

Going to Ocean Colour Scene, Echobelly and Cast. Looking forward to it. Not been to one before, where do they have the stage? |
 | Forum Reply | Everton Are Told By Southampton The Price For Tyler Dibling at 16:12 28 May 2025
He’s nowhere near worth 55 million, Everton signed Ndiaye for 17m who at this moment is head and shoulders above Dibling. The deal for Alcarez who has been great in his loan spell is around 15-16 million so the jump for that fee isn’t going to happen. What happened to him last season? He started off really well. |

For two weeks in Portugal at the end of July/August with my extended family, about 20 of us in a big villa. Family wedding in Wales a few days after we get back. Cricket, gigs, weekends in London, Liverpool and Amsterdam plus mates coming down for their annual pub crawl around the Hamble Strawberry trail. |

Great to see you and your lad. My nephew is still having therapy after your suggestion that a year in the Championship would be a great thing! Also glad you all got the chance to boo Heath and Bailey one more time, it was kind of fitting. |

It will be interesting to see when the PL announce the outcome of City’s hearing. I will amazed if their lawyers haven’t ran rings around Masters and his gang of bellends. |

The entertainment was perfect for the occasion, having a band play would have only be good for those who like that genre of music. As it was the music was all Everton related and was great, mixed in with former players and interviews. Great to see loads of Saints fans in and around the ground way before the game having a drink and enjoying the day. |

The nearby Excelsior is also a great pub as is the short walk to Thomas Rigby, where I will be after the game. From there, there’s a ton of bars. That’s a great part of town for us over fifties drinkers. The last time I was in there for a Saints game was the 1-1 when I met up with Wints and Bent_Eric (old school). A cravat wearing Erwin Koeman was also in there, which was amusing. |

From the picture I saw of him the other week, he’s not running for anything these days. He is huge. |

Adrian Heath and John Bailey will be in attendance so that will be a special booing opportunity for Saints. |

I think you’ll find more tears at Saints than Everton, certainly a lot more cry arsing anyway. |

Not really, it’s still the last time Everton will play at Goodison. The women’s team is a different entity. The ground overtime will change and will be a legacy hub with EITC and the women’s team being base there but it will have nothing to do with the men’s team. Sunday won’t be any less emotional because of it, but it’s fantastic from the new owners and a nod towards the overall club and the community. |

This is the last game. Obviously the stadium has now been handed over to the Women’s team, but this will be the last senior mens games at Goodison. |
