I can only surmise that the club were/are expecting him to be imminently offered a role elsewhere. In which case the new club would have to pay us compensation. If thatâs not the case, we seem to have opened ourselves up to having to pay him off as we wonât be able to appoint someone else into the role whilst heâs still under contract.

I really didnât think Bristol C were much cop - such small margins in this division between those pushing for promotion and those struggling (but a striker certainly can be the difference). Imagine them in the premiership next year?! |
