Always interesting to see which US politician is very pro-Israel & then see how much AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee) has lobbied for them. Coincidence I am sure. |

Little teaser of a new contract... someone with coffee with QPR Player of season award behind. If I was to have a guess... |

CEO Christian Nourry said: "The club's continued focus on making acquisitions of players of Timmy's age and profile is further highlighted by his arrival today. “He is a very exciting talent, who has the physical attributes to impose himself as a left-footed central defender at the professional level. “On top of that, he is a young man with a level of maturity and focus beyond his years which we believe will make him eminently coachable. On behalf of the entire club, I warmly welcome him." Chatgpt is honestly way more human-like than Nourry. |

Everything has to be about him, embarrassing. Hopefully Orient get past them in the final as you say. |

You know what, fair enough. I had heard it numerous times on this board so thought it was fact, but I have searched it and doesn't seem to come up. But then it wouldn't as we get no details from the club regarding these things which is why we are left to speculate ourselves. But apologies, I said it as if it was fact when it isn't, so that is my bad. |

Pretty well documented that he wanted another 1-2 years on his contract, and we said no. Besides, we should have got this wrapped up end of last year when nobody was in for him and he would have signed. Arrogance from the club (and yes, Nourry) leaving it to the last minute, by which point his head was turned / had been shown interest by clubs with higher ambition. Incompetence. |

Morning Charlie, hope you're well. Can you please let us know, using your inside knowledge, when our brilliant manager will be back from gardening leave and in his rightful position as Head Coach? Many thanks |

It's football. Every single player, manager looks at their possibilities. Even in my job, if a company is willing to pay me 20% more, I am joining that company. The issue is why was this leaked, almost 100% certain it was from the club as a response to the article last week... this has now meant his position is 'untenable' and we have snookered ourselves as it looks like W Brom don't even want him. A massive and unnecessary leap from the club (and probably Nourry). Absolute f*cking shambles. Embarrassing. |

Or he's saying a fact. And that fact is he is a coach under contract and is clearly working his hardest for this club. |

Really is a shame if it were to happen. A head of performance being allowed to work from Dubai is a disgrace to begin with, but to be a big reason to why Marti was to go is unforgiveable. If anyone was to go, I'd rather it be Nourry. |

I'd say that's easier to do in rugby because the ball (egg?) moves much slower around the pitch / the pitch is bigger. In football every part of the pitch could be used in 10 seconds, so this would be dangerous to players (and physios). But 100% should stop the clock when ball is not in play, I think there was a study that the ball is in play less than 60 mins in the premier league... that is 1/3 of the game just gone and nobody ever questions it. How many times have we seen 10-15 mins a half wasted due to injuries, subs, time wasting and the fourth official deems it suitable to add 3-4 mins. [Post edited 22 Apr 17:00]
