It's bonkers, mad, insane, just wrong but perhaps Jimmy simply does not want to sign and is looking for possibly his biggest/last big pay day. If I was in his position I would be doing everything I could to get as much money as I could, wherever that was.

If we signed a L1 player scoring 15-20 goals there would be obvious excitement. Bit of no-brainer to sign him on multi year contract if we can and sell on if he can't make step up. How much would a 20 goal striker cost?

He seemed like a decent bloke when he was here but that doesn't sound like the full story. The whole world knew we were in the shit with FFP so it sound a little mischievous and misleading.

Interesting another club's fan who has no real interest in promotion other than financial. I think that's the general consensus of a lot of fans. IMO the Championship is the best league in the world but being messed up by EPL parachute payments.

Technically offside but as we know no real advantage and in the spirit of the game should have been allowed. What struck me was it took approx 30 seconds for decision to be made which puts EPL VAR implementation to shame.

Realistically we probably need 2 points per game and although we achieved that during the recent run we now are faced with playing 4 of the top seven teams in March and even if we can gather some points its unlikely we will get enough. I think Marti knows it too but we will almost certainly achieve or exceed this years aims which will be a fantastic achievement. I think the difficulty will be next season when we may lose some key players and the expectation will ratchet up a couple of levels.
