Thanks for all you did Marti but it's time to move on and forget him. He's nothing to do with us now and it's getting as boring as all those who pined for Warburton
I know the Taylor Richards situation is frustrating to everyone but a lot of people on here should really shut up about the mental health issues unless they know the truth about his condition or whether he's been 'playing' the club. My best mate is bi-polar and if you met him on his good days you would think he's the funniest bloke you'd met but if you saw him in his bad times curled up in a ball crying his eyes out and threatening alsorts then you wouldn't recognise him. I also suffer with mild depression and when that's at it's worst the last thing I want to do is mix with people let alone play football. So unless you know Taylor Richards personally andf know he's faking it all then have a little respect
A slight diffrence in playing 8 games to win a cup or winning the 2nd division than there is to playing 42 games using 18 players in the 1st division so for me the 75/76 team is our best ever. Venables 1982/83 team I would say was better than the two you mention. We all have different opinions but mines right! (joking)
We'll have to agree to disagree. If your playing Andorra or any other minnow nation we should be playing 4-2-4 with one of the centre backs moving in to the holding position two out and out wingers, 2 mobile strikers that leave gaps for the 2 midfielders to exploit. The major fault with England for years has been the lack of pace we move the ball about at.
It depends on the opposition whether you should play 2 'deep pivots' (whatever that means). If you're playing Spain, Germany etc then yes I can see the benfit but if you're Andorra why would you waste 2 players playing just in front of your back line?
With all the players available to him why is he playing players out of position and more to the point why the f is he still selecting Jordan Henderson and Kyle Walker neither of whom can get in their club sides regularly!
I never said the ESL was replacing the Premier league. What I meant is it would be great to get rid of the all the clubs that have huge amounts of spending power so that we could go back to having competitive leagues where any club had a small possibility of winning the league like it was befiore the dreaded Premier league came about. As far as super leagues are concerned I can still see a World super league at sjme stage due to the amount of money being pumped into all other sports by the Saudi's etc. As for your 'final proof' we'll see in time.
