I don't agree that there is only a day's worth of sight seeing. In my view the places worth seeing in the city include: (1) Wawel Hill (Castle and Cathedral, which is the coronation and burial site of Polish monarchs and notable Poles, some of whom died abroad and whose remains were reinterred there. (2) Rynek Glówny (Main Market Square). Site of the Sukiennice (a Renaissance-era Cloth Hall) and Kościół Mariacki (St. Mary’s Basilica), a 14th-century Gothic church with towers of different heights. On the hour every hour a trumpet signal is played from the top of the taller of the Basilica’s two towers. The tune breaks off in mid-stream, to commemorate a famous 13th century trumpeter who was shot in the throat while sounding the alarm before a Mongol attack on the city. (3) Schindler’s Factory Museum. That said, I didn't bother to go when I was told that it was not his actual factory. (4) The Jewish Quarter (Kazimierz) - the area of Krakow which was used for the filming of Schindler's List (5) Home Army Museum (6) Czartoryski Museum I totally agree about the need to buy advance tickets for Auschwitz. When i was there some years ago, I just drove to the entrance and walked in. This time, I didn't bother because of the bureaucratic nightmare. A couple in my hotel took the 6am train and waited for hours before they could get in. Hope this is helpful. |

For the first time in a number of years, I was there in June. A beautiful city with lots to do and see. How long are you there for? What do you mean by "usual stuff"/ |

All I would add to earlier suggestions is Schindlers Factory Museum. Polish cuisine is much improved and I recommend the following: Pierogi (Dumplings) Bigos (Hunters Stew) Barszcz (Beetroot Soup) Śledzie (Pickled Herrings) Naleśniki (Pancakes) |

I live in Ruislip and I am missing the programmes against Chelsea on 1 February 1995 (the match was postponed and I am assuming that one was issued; the friendly against Sheffield Wednesday on 20 July 1999; and the FA Cup game against Torquay on 11 December 1999. I would be very happy to make a charitable donation. |

It seems that Rangers received £480,000 for having Chair and Dieng at the World Cup. Might keep the wolf from the door for a couple of weeks. |

6. It has been agreed and I hereby order that the Club is sanctioned for the breach as follows: 6.1 The Club is to be immediately deducted 6 points in the 2021/22 Championship season. 6.2 The Club is also subject to a suspended sanction of 6 points to be deducted from its season points total in Season 2021/22 (or Season 2022/23), on the first occasion on or before 30 June 2023 that: i) the Club fails to file such documents as are required to be filed in accordance with the provisions of Rule 2.2 of the P&S Rules by 1 March in the relevant Season(s); 2 ii) the Club breaches the Budget as more particularly described in paragraphs 19 and 21 of Appendix 1; or iii) the Club is found to have committed (or admits) a further breach of the P&S Rules by its P&S Calculation resulting in a loss that exceeds the Upper Loss Threshold as applicable at the time of the submission in accordance with Rule 2.2, the “Suspended Penalty”. This was the original decision and it refers to the critical date for points deductions as being 30 June 2023. Unless I am missing something, where does yesterday's date come from? |

Albeit that it was some years ago, when my son was at university I regularly transferred to another seat when he was home so that we could sit together. |

Sadly, because Dykes came back from an offside position, offside was the correct decision and should have been flagged at the moment he touched the ball. I thought that at the time. |

Trying to buy tickets for me, my son (season ticket holder like me), his girlfriend and her father but can only seem to buy 2. Can't see anywhere on the site that suggests that sales are restricted. Help please! |
 | Forum Thread | Richard MacLennan RIP at 09:25 18 Feb 2021
Poignant moment during last night's commentary when Nick London and Andy Sinton paid tribute to Richard, a long standing supporter and player sponsor who passed away earlier in the month and whose funeral took place yesterday. His widow, Viv, received video messages from Les Ferdinand, Mark Warburton and Andy Sinton and messages from Mark Rowlands and Osman Kakay. Demonstrates that Rangers are still very much a family club. |

Found the programme of QPR Reserves v Swansea Town Reserves on 30 October 1948 in the Football Combination in which Johnny Gibbons is listed as Centre Forward. Until my son comes round, haven't got a clue as to how to attach it to this exchange!!! |
