Well if you don’t tackle that’s what can happen.
In instances like this it’s easy and understandable to blame the defence but there’s six players ahead of them who are doing literally nothing to stem the tide.

We’ve only got to look around our ground to know what the owners and upper echelons think of us all.
These clowns watch us rot in dreadful seating, appalling facilities, bottom of the market beer at extortionate prices, hot dogs you could batter someone to death with. They are not owners who care one toss about the fanbase.
These things may seem minor to some but it tells you an awful lot about their ‘love’ for this club.
I’ve had enough of these fools and if they go and it means consequences then so be it. |

49 years since I got my GCE results and still vividly recall getting a U grade in French.
For anyone in the same boat today, don’t panic, I circumnavigated the problem by speaking English in a very loud and aggressive tone whenever I’ve met a Frenchman and it’s served me well.
If id known that when i was eleven I could have bunked off five years of daily French lessons which served absolutely no purpose.
Hope that helps anyone who didn’t get the language results they’d hoped for. |

I don’t know why they don’t design a shirt without arms and you just keep your arms inside the shirt itself.
Make the shirt elasticated enough to move the arms relatively freely and the player could justifiably ‘expand’ in situations like last night to protect your goal without conceding a penalty. Player goes round the keeper, you expand yourself on the goal line, player tries to run by you, you expand to block his path.
So many positives to an armless shirt and renders VAR and the ref useless.
The only potential downside I can see is if they make the keeper wear one as well. |
