I noticed the fact that he said "that's what you get for a million pound striker" . It is pathetic that we've had to take "cast offs" from clubs in our division. I felt we were at a crossroads at Christmas time. We had a genuine chance of making an impact with the likes of Moore, Kuqi, Commons,Bueno & Cywka - Adding a quality left back, centre midfielder and centre half (possibly Ayala) we would have been in a real position to give it a go. As it was we got a pathetic load drivel about the Commons contract and no PERMANENT SIGNINGS. We need at least 8 new players, permanent buggers too (now who sounds like Billy Davies) to get us near the top half next season. "Perennial top 12 premiership club" Mr Appleby. It all just adds to the "rage against the GSE machine" . I'm not Mr Gadsby's greatest fan but enough is enough now. We are six players "light" in squad terms and keep getting "emergency loans" in isn't good enough for me. Final straw for me - Let em bugger off back to the states and get excited about rounders and netball and leave us this side of the atlantic to concentrate on the real game of football. |
