Excuse my ignorance but we both made 6 substitutions last night, I always thought only 5 were allowed, must be a rule change I’ve missed, apologies if covered before.
I was at the game against Leeds around 1974, from memory last game of the season and we had our highest ever crowd that day around 35k, but Leeds had all the School End.
Went to Hayes (Middlesex) working man’s club, I was actually a Toolmaker (I’m not Starmers dad) making plastic injection moulds, which was meant to be a job for life, then China took over. As for the club, cheap beer, dinner and dance nights, never seemed to be any trouble.
Reading through the PinkUn re the QPR player easily falling to the floor reminds me of the time Barton and Bradley Johnson went face to face and Johnson went down holding his face when there wasn’t any contact and Barton was sent off, we were 1-0 up at the time and went on to lose 1-2, ruined my Saturday evening that day, Karma 👍
Stay, improve the facilities, try to somehow increase capacity to 20k. Everyone I know that has been to Loftus Road, either a neutral or away fan all comment on the atmosphere, ground is in a great accessible location. I’ve been going since 1966, was in our largest ever crowd there against Leeds from memory ie 35k but even if we had that capacity I think we would be half full most of the time now unless we were consistently in the Premier League.
