Do we think it's 1 in 1 out? Football is mad, this time last week I wanted VP gone. Now that he has scored 2 good goals I want him stay. Fickle much?? ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

Add Wayne Routledge to some extent to that. Dyer perfect example. Scott Sinclair? People need to chill. We set the bar high and we didn't get Geubbels. It might of been a risk anyways. But it shows ambition from the Club and maybe with results getting better and foundations in place we can build on that next transfer window.

I mentioned it on Jack Army forum, people forget Piroe scored 1 goal at PSV before joining us then went on to score 22 goals first season
Obefemi scored 0 goals season before joining us then scored 12 first season. Im not saying this signing will be a Piroe, just stating players perform different in different surroundings. Viktor Gyรถkeres anyone?

Swansea through but questions remain
at 20:32 27 Aug 2025

Did I see Sheehans reaction when VP scored Yes. Did I think it was bit odd. Slightly. But put it this way, you work in an office and ask your employee to do a job for the last year. They do the job but not at the level required. One day after calling them out they decide to start performing. Anyone would start to think about things like Sheehan, maybe, why haven't you shown that before VP. Who knows. Side note, thought article was slightly harsh on Eom. Coming back from injury and though he was not at his best he did some really good stuff yesterday, one being, the tackle that led to the goal. I also think it didn't help with Burgess going off, and Casey. Throw Fulton into defense and then keeping Parker on with Key etc. It felt more like a match to get players up to speed with fitness and everything.

Thanks Keith. Is the striker more likely to be in before Transfer Day as permanent? I saw your article yesterday, was the striker in sights now the alternative option because we missed out on Willen?

๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ Agreed. Yes there is analysis and all of that and he could of been something but it's still a gamble. Liam Walsh anyone? Yes different level, but still. For 9m was never gonna happen.

No Cooper in the squad today then. That will mean he is off then. Interesting to see where he goes

We will have to agree to disagree on this one Everyone sees things different. But his hold up play and bringing players into the game is far more better than VP. He adds much more to the team on match day. Maybe not always and maybe not what we want in the long term but we all see things different I suppose.

Genuine Question, what has he got wrong? Saying Cullen is his first choice and VP not taking the shirt?

I have been vocal on wanting VP to be the striker we all want. Cullen is not a striker
But his work rate and overall match day contribution is much better than VP.

I don't think I have ever seen VP win a header from a goal kick when competing. Not that Cullen does. Cullen does need to be better. But VP switches off. Copy and paste highlights from the last year, of him missing a sitter on the line

Look do I want a striker, and one that replaces Cullen in the team. 100%. But his overall game at this time contributes alot more than VP. Sheehan knows it, the fans know it.

Without this turning into a Cullen debate. Yes we need a striker. But Sheehan is spot on, Cullen contributes much more to the team on match day. VP has had chances. He has glimpses. But his work rate, switching off and heading, is not there. VP was already on the outside of Sheehan mind for some while. Sheehan gave him a chance and hasn't claimed his spot. Today's comments from Sheehan about Cullen should tell us more that VP will go if right offer comes in and new Striker is on the menu.

Maybe I'm being to optimistic and think Sheehan has done what he wanted. Make us all think nothing is coming so it doesn't jepodise the transfer. Let's say its true, we don't get a striker, that will really be damaging to the club and everything that has happened this summer. There is no way they don't at least have other options.

Swans TV your experiences
at 21:09 19 Aug 2025

Further Update - Swansea Trust has spoken with the club and they was aware of my complaint. Also media department has been in contact with me. I did reply to them and emphasis that they need to communicate with fans via twitter (x) and via commentary etc if issue arise as hiding from talking or mention about it, will go a long way. Let's hope something comes from this.

Hi.....

I totally understand your frustration with the Swans TV Live service this season, weโ€™ve faced multiple challenges. The service is reliant on multiple platforms working together in conjunction with each other, so a lot of the issues we face is due to one of them platforms either not working the way they should, or not connecting to one another.

The pre-season match โ€“ this was due to an issue from our broadcasting partner, where the club didnโ€™t receive the feed in time for the match. The club announced this prior to kick-off, and refunded supporters. You, as a pre-season bundle holder, was refunded ยฃ5.

The Middlesbrough match, some supporters received issued up until the 31st minute โ€“ weโ€™re currently undergoing an investigation on where this issue lies which is taking a bit longer than weโ€™d have liked, but if youโ€™d like to request a part-refund, or a refund/ removal of your annual pass please let us know.

A man without a concience, when making up stories and taking other people's work is either a dangerous man or just plain dumb. I'll go with the dumb one when it comes to Coleman.
