Sorry MrSheen, I'd forgotten all about Phil Silvers & Sergeant Bilko. |

RIP Hotlips. MASH was the first television show that I can remember questioning the glorification of war. |

Queens Park Rangers current ladies team was formed in 2001. There was an earlier version that was formed in 1969 & reached three consectutive finals of the FA Womens Cup, all against Southampton, winning the middle one of these. I remember watching Doncaster Belles (then the top side) winning the FA Womens Cup at Loftus Road on the artificial pitch. The game was played at lunchtime & was followed by a Rangers league match. |

I meant that they MIGHT have been trying to negoiate a termination. I'm not aware of any mis-conduct. I can't see any other reason for not issuning the list at the required time. |

The list is about players coming to the end of a Queens Park Rangers contract. Saito didn't have one & so he couldn't have been included. The same with Edwards, Ashby & Yang. I don't see anything on the list that couldn't have been supplied to the EFL by the 17th May, unless they were trying to terminate Richard's contract! |
 | Forum Reply | What CM would you want? at 10:02 28 May 2025
Hopefully, we've already signed him! Harvey Vale MIGHT be the one. Of course, he may turn out to be another Jordan Cousins! |

I don't understand Vale as a probable left back replacement. He has only played in that position under Joseph Barton & I trust that man's judgement as much as I rate him as a person! IMO, Vale is far more likely to be an attacking midfield player. |
 | Forum Reply | Anyone else not renewed yet? at 13:10 27 May 2025
I've not renewed yet, but I'm almost certain to. Probably more to do with meeting up with friends rather than the football that will be on offer! As I only make the one payment, I always leave it to the last week of getting the renewal price reduction. Pay by Credit Card & that will be the end of July before the cash leaves my account! |

Oldham & Southend are not happy! Both clubs requested 30,000 tickets, but have been issued with 17,500. This is due to H&S as Wembley Park Station is closed for works this weekend! Southend have since been granted an extra 4,000 tickets as their first allocation was sold in hours. I assume Oldham have received the same. |

They've had the advert for the Red Dragons as well! I don't understand the claim that they will show a "minimum" of 215 Premier games next season, 80% of Premier games being broadcast. Surely they know the exact amount they can show? If that is only 80%, 269 games will be shown, leaving just 111 matches not covered! |

We didn't get many wins, but none of the top six did the double over us. The previous season only Southampton beat us twice though. |

I'm almost sure that the income will be in the period when the add on reached qualification, as it wouldn't have appeared in the club accounts. Hence, only the basic transfer fees are accounted for as there may be no additional figure. |

Phil, it's only a 5-10 minute bus ride from the station to the ground & the clubhouse is reasonably big. The ground suffers from an athletics track going round it , but I've been to other grounds where you feel further away than at Chelmsford. I would have gone to this game, but I have a family lunch that will take priority! |

And why would he do that? Not many people walk out of their job with no employment lined up. I did, but I was only six months away from retirement & the mortgage repaid. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend taking such action! |

Going by your interpretation, isn't Nourry guilty of breaching his employment contract when he applied/was approached/interviewed for his current job at Rangers? Perhaps he was self employed, but taking a job with the client that you were auditing would surely question his integrity? At least, as much as you appear to be questioning Cifuentes. Personally, I don't think there is any chance of Cifuentes returning & the sooner the club pay him off, the better it will be for all. |

It was a magnificent save Ted. Chris Day is the gentleman who deserves the praise. |
