Do professional footballers understand that running the ball to the corner flag with 3 minutes left isn’t boring or cheating? It’s called tactics!
Yet our glory hunter players decide it’s worth risking a shot on goal & ultimately giving their keeper the ball back to hoof upfield and a counter attack chance.
They need to watch that Newcastle/Liverpool cup final, and watch how much effort those Geordie players made to stop Liverpool from even touching the ball in injury time.
