And for playing without shorts for a few moments. A true original who gave me loads of pleasure and a few laughs.

Dave Cousins lays down for good
at 10:15 21 Jul 2025

Oh no.
The first LP I ever bought that was stereo was the Strawbs first release. The sound was amazing.
I got into them via a programme that featured them on BBC2 amazingly with an unknown mime artist …..David Bowie!
A few years back they did a free session at my wife’s special school as they supported an autism charity. Dave and co signed all my albums! Confirmed it was Bowie and that Rick Wakeman hated his photo on one of the covers and got it changed. Mines the ugly one!
I will listen to Benedictus again in his honour.

Presumably a special deal at Sainsbury’s. I’ve just had an offer to get £9 off with a token if completed this week. Very happy to lend my card.

We have to climb?
Unless I’ve missed something there was no match thread. Good job too!
I can’t have been the only person who suffered watching that jolly shambles. I only watched bits but oh my my..goal number three said it all.
Does anyone want to share their observations?

Pete and Dud.

Just watched “The Wrong Box” . Think it was Film 4? Pete and Dud are in it and have their moments, also a young Michael Caine and various others, but the stand out was Peter Sellers. Really unusual to find a film from that era that not only made me laugh out loud but also with almost none of the more embarrassing tropes of that time.

I think you’ll find there are millions of people who do care passionately. I don’t think anyone has the right to make judgment on behalf of the rest of the football world. Football inspires passion in all of us…men and women. Now quite why so many get passionate about their Premier league team that expects to win week in week out..well that’s another matter.

Assuming we want him…
That result should seal it. Prove himself at higher level in a team which hopefully?? can help him play to his strengths and open up opportunity to play for USA…might even be in with a Wotld Cup chance? Would be crazy to stay at Orient. Should be genuine heartfelt thanks and bye…though maybe return if all goes tits up with us.
I thought there was a proper player in evidence amidst the dross on show around him.

Rodney for me too. But Phil Parkes a close second. Seemed more important when you’re a kid.

Second goal was his first ever I think.
With VAR third was clearly off side. If only. ( careful what you wish for

And breathe? Maybe?
at 09:59 6 Apr 2025

Just did one of those predictor thingys. Gave us just 2 draws. And we survived. Because there’s lots in the mix who play each other and surely we can fluke a couple of scrappy draws like yesterday? That draw was a very big result!

Probably in a minority of one, but here goes ..

Only watched online, so only entitled to half an opinion, but , given the circumstances, an acceptable result. There’s a lot more sows ear than silk purse at the moment, but the attitude was pretty good and a draw was a huge relief.

I’m sure Dave will be tickled by being mistaken for the other Rangers legend that’s Dave Thomas!
Hope you’re recovery is as fast as your alter ego was on the wing!

Good publicity for the club..must have been filmed last week as Chair isn’t injured. Suggests that Rayan might be fit enough for Stoke game.

Thought it was a terrific game! Seems like some on here just live to be miserable..so I Spose the Rangers are an obvious choice ! One example ..I thought Frey was fantastic. Gave everything for the shirt out there. Well done my team.

Indeed.
We are a soft touch..no yellow cards, no real battle in so many areas of the pitch.
