PS. I was meaning to add that I’d class KWP as a faithful servant rather than a club legend. Good luck to him for his next move as he’s always done his best and never let us down in a really big way. He just didn’t have much help from the rest of the team.

I was talking really enthusiastically to a Latvian bloke at work about Pahars a little while back and I think I might have gone a bit over the top because he looked a bit scared. He calmed down a bit once he realized that I was no danger to him. He said hello to me when I saw him the other day so I think he’s forgiven me.

When I was in London for a couple of days last month I stayed in a hotel just around the corner from Paddington.

I bumped into a fella in an Arsenal shirt in the hotel lift and asked him how they’d got on.

We’ve definitely had the worst season. I’ve never known a less competitive Saints side than this one. Even when we were shit in the past we had a bit of fight. This season has been beyond embarrassing.

Sport Republic aren’t getting any more of my money so I won’t be renewing my Saints membership next season but I might get Wrexham membership and try to get a ticket for the match at the Racecourse that way.

At one point he pressed like an absolute demon all on his own for about a full minute so he can do it. He was also a bit unlucky to hit the woodwork but if he’d just managed to pull it back instead we’d have been nailed on for a 2-0 lead (which we would still probably have lost but might have ended up with a point).

I’m an armchair fan and I don’t remember giving up and turning off the TV as often as I have this season.

I know it’s a different kettle of fish but I don’t know how people who actually go to games have stuck it out this season.

Watching Saints lose every week is so boring.
