Northerner, you have this amazing knack of capturing how I feel about the Rs at any particular time. I was hugely disappointed with the approach to the Plymouth game. I would have been apoplectic if I had traveled and paid money to attend that game as a fan. Seemed like a big F**k You to the fans for no real gains on the pitch. I struggle to believe that any professional sports coach would put out a team selection like that off their own back. I despair, if JS alone thought that was a good idea. As for the current injuries/ lack of fitness - it might be acceptable (to a degree) for the local Sunday league football team to be in that state. However, it is just plain embarrassing and bordering on incompetence for a professional sports club to be so unprepared at the start of a new season. To me, it looks like JS is being dictated to. I look forward to seeing evidence to the contrary. Positively, the signings of Mbengue, Poku, Burrell, and Kone look to have real potential. Also retaining Dunne is a real boost. |

Like my politicians, I don't actually care whether the manager is boring so long as they can do the job well that they have been employed to do. I am just nervous that we are not going to see how good M. Stephan is due to influences beyond the dressing room. |

Woodville, New Zealand I'm a Kiwi, but have had stints living elsewhere on my OEs including Shipbourne, Kent (fond memories of The Kentish Rifleman) and Bremen, Germany. Woodville Cons: Boy racers skidding up grass berms around town. Lack of match day experience at NZ sporting events (try as we might, we just can't seem to match the atmosphere that you get at European football matches). Pros: Central to everything - the ocean, mountains, bigger cities (by NZ standards) are all within a couple of hours drive. The outdoors - Some great tramping (hiking) spots nearby. Relaxed - We are a pretty laidback, easy going bunch generally. |

Jees, I laugh at the comments on this forum. One minute it's all doom, the manager's shit, the players are shit, change everything, angst, gnashing of teeth, etc, etc. The next - we are promotion material, Marti is a magician, how do we keep this player or that from being poached/ how are they playing for us - they are so talented, Fantastic team of players. Love it! The more rational of us suspect that the reality is somewhere in the middle ground. |

I just want to state that, in spite of any approaches made, I also will not be appearing on MOTD this weekend. |

But 30 years ago was the 90s! With your post you are agreeing with him, other than being depressed and sickened which appears to be a perpetual state for you. I'd get that checked out if I were you. |

What utter sh*t you talk. We are all upset and hurt by Beale's actions, it's just that some of us can manage their emotions with a little more maturity than others. I'm sure the club negotiated with him in good faith and feel just as let down by his lack of integrity as the rest of us. I'm not sure what sort of interview screening process would have highlighted his dishonesty. It is the bane of job interviews in any profession. I am actually excited about who might be the next appointment and what they might do in the remainder of the season with the resources they have at their disposal. I also trust the club to carry out the process with the same professionalism and commitment to the best interests of QPR that they have regarding other big decisions in recent years. |

Had tickets to their concert in Palmerston North, New Zealand in 1985. It was cancelled due to an Aussie ground crew strike meaning they couldn't fly all their gear over "The Ditch". (I've had an irrational dislike of Aussies ever since ). They have been a huge musical part of my life since my early teens but I have never quite got to see them live. Can't believe they are still going. There's still hope |
