![]() Saturday, 28th Jul 2012 09:41 Whilst all the transfer-talk this week has been about a certain Scotsman another want away Caledonian gave a reminder of his own capabilities with a two goal salvo in Torquay last night. Roared on by 3,000 travelling fans, the whites ended a memorable tour of Devon and Cornwall with two strikes inside 11 minutes by Ross McCormack. McCormack struck in the 7th minute from long- range and four minutes later smashed home a free-kick. With five clubs reportedly expressing an interest in McCormack, this could prove the perfect shop-window opportunity to hasten a move away from Elland Road having turned down an extended contract. Whether or not McCormack leaves before fellow striker Billy Paynter remains to be seen, Paynter is apparently subject to a tug of war between League One rivals Doncaster and Notts County.
