Takes One To Know One Peter??

Takes One To Know One Peter

Oh hum. So Peter Jackson is off again isn't he. Clearly not able to let Lee Trundle's shoulder roll lie from almost two years ago. After all, it did put the icing on the cake of his sides dismal performance at the Vetch and what a delight it was to watch Trundle roll the ball around his shoulders before bringing it back under control with his feet. And at the same time making Jackson's side look like mere spectators in a show of brilliance,

It irritated Jackson then and it's still irritating him now. Surely he should have been content enough with a 3-1 win on Saturday. Surely the fact that we had two men sent off would have been good enough. Surely the fact that he sprinted onto the pitch to join in a melee involving Trundle should have made him keep his big gob shut after all he should have been sent to the stands for that little display of petulance.

Nope not Jackson who joins Laws, Calderwood and Curle as the managers who really are so far up their own backsides it ain't real. Walking into a press conference and declaring the opposition strikers to be a t t is behaviour befitting of a 10 year old. And by all accounts he just sat back and laughed at his own joke. What is it they say - a good comedian never laughs at his own jokes. Therefore it must follow that Jackson is not a good comedian.

It's a shame that he has to act like he does. Huddersfield are a good side and I expect them to be there or therabouts at the end of the season. But they can do it without the need for this kind of talk. All it means is that Jackson has added the bad blood to the return fixture in February when really there was no need.

Of course a man would now stand up and make a statement about it but Jackson won't. He found it funny. Trundle's response should be easy. Couple of goals to seal victory at White Rock and then stand with the ball balanced on his head in front of Jackson and in squeaky scouse simply say "who's the now?"

But then again dreams don't come true!!
