Pratley Ready To Fight For Goal

Pratley Wants Swans Goal

Pratley screamed a first time shot off the bar and off the back of Stuart Nelson into the net right at the start of the second half on Saturday to double the Swans advantage and set them further on the road towards the 5-0 destruction of the former leaders.

Some are claiming that the goal should go down as an own goal to the Orient keeper, who had a torrid afternoon as Swansea scored at will during the second half. But that is not something that Pratley agrees with and told the Western Mail "I don't get many so I'm definitely having that one,

"It's definitely my goal and the referee has got to give it to me. I don't care what he says - I will take it to court if I have to!

"I think Warren (Feeney) got a knock down and it bounced up nicely for me. I just hit it and I was well happy to see it go in.

"It's my best goal for Swansea and it came at a good time.

"You would not have thought it would be 5-0 after the first half.

"It was a hard first half, they had some good movement in midfield and it was a hard battle for us.

"But after the second goal went in it opened up a lot more and it could have been more than five.

"To come to the league leaders and beat them 5-0 is a big credit to us."

Martin Ling meanwhile believes that his side are a long way off challenging at the top end of the division for too long

"We said these two weeks would be an acid test for us because we'd got Swansea and Leeds.

"I think they'll both be top-six teams and it shows that we're a million miles away.

"The first two Swansea goals were wonder strikes but for me the goalkeeper (Nelson) chucks the next two in."
