Further Links With Former Watford Midfielder Sunday, 27th Jul 2008 09:00 Sunday's football gossip columns are again linking the Swans with being interested in former Watford midfielder Douglas Rinaldi It is the fourth link between the Swans and the player although it has to be said that there is no immediate wording to have backed this up from anybody - not even the players agent. Rinald, who moved to England in January 2007 and he impressed hugely in the Premier League, which persuaded boss Aidy Boothroyd to make the deal permanent that summer. However, following relegation to the Championship, Rinaldi did not feature once and this summer he had his contract at Vicarage Road terminated by "mutual consent" The columns report that the Swans are one of a host of clubs allegedly interested in the player including Birmingham, Charlton, Plymouth, Hibernian and Hearts. On the rumour scale rating of 1-10, you would imagine this to be maybe a 2 at best? Photo: Action Images Please report offensive, libellous or inappropriate posts by using the links provided.
