![]() Thursday, 8th Oct 2009 22:29 The odds are on a 1-1 draw at Southend. After three consecutive 1-1 draws away from home, Saints look to get their first away win of the season up at Roots Hall in a game stupidly moved to the Friday night due to Police intervention. Although Saints didnt click against Torquay on Tuesday, they do have the excuse that it was a weakened side out so with all the big guns back and blazing and on a highn from the demolition of Gillingham, there is no reason why they shouldnt come back from Essex with all three points. Assuming everyone is fit I wouldnt expect much of a change from the starting line up and formation used against The Gills, AP seems to like the 4-5-1 system at home let alone away and with the added pace of Papa Waigo it might just be dangerous although of course we are vunerable to pace along the flanks and high balls into the box. Its time for Saints to start to put together a winning run and show the fans they do have it in them to launch a late run into the play offs, as time is running out fast.
