Leeds win in Brann at a terrible price? and is two-goal hero Becchio bound for the exit door over contract row?

Leeds turned on the style to secure an impressive 3-1 win in Brann.

Leeds had been pencilled in to play SK Lyn Olso, but the team managed by former favourite Gunnar Halle have gone bankrupt so Brann with former Elland Road stars Gylfi Einarsson and Erik Bakke stepped in.

However Leeds may be left rueing their hosts generosity. The game was littered with lunging challenges, the worst being a 25th minute shocker on Robert Snodgrass. Snodgrass was carried off nursing a knee injury. The extent of the damage is not yet known and it is uncertain whether or not Snodgrass will face Wolves on Saturday.

Becchio had given Leeds the lead on 18 minutes, Lloyd Sam made it 2-0 on 25 minutes before Cato Hansen pulled on back for the hosts on the break.

On 55 minutes, Becchio grabbed his fourth goal in four days and could he be heading for a shock Elland Road exit?

It is being reported that Leeds have not been forthcoming with a new contract offer, that was discussed last Christmas. Becchio who has just one year left on his current deal is said to be "surprised" that nothing has been offered.

This news, if true (it is in the reliable as a Del Boy watch Daily Mail) will stun United fans who adore the 26-year-old Argentine for his goals and phenominal work-rate.
